The fact that the rumor that Nintendo won't have a major release after TotK came from the person who SWORE to Nintendo fans that Zelda Remasters would be coming to Switch in 2021 is hilarious to me
 
Conspiracy brain makes me think lack of TotK icon in that voucher video means they'll be revealing new key art and box in the next Direct, and is being tightly kept under wraps.
 
So Nintendo is doomed and has no games after Zelda but increased production of Switch and expects more sales then last year? Something doesn't add up... 😛

Glad it's finally back, never understood why it left in the first place, it's gonna be $139.99 for Canadians, and I sincerely hope this isn't the only improvement to NSO you have to announce, Furukawa.

yeah for as much as the totk box has grown on me, it still feels a little like a placeholder

Who's doing it though? Have we any confirmation that MonolithSoft is involved in the Baten Kaitos rerelease or is it solely Bandai-Namco?

IIRC it was Bamco who said they considered but then passed on doing anything with Xenosaga.

In Switzerland the vouchers are more expensive than if you just buy two games physically. But even in other countries, they never were exactly that great of a deal.

Game Boy and Game Boy Color are coming first (or, at best, the same time).

I think a GB/GBC announcement is possible in this Direct, especially if the voucher thing means they're going to push NSO subs already. And it could coincide with some potential Pokémon stuff + Transfer Pak support. But especially if the latter things happen, then I don't think GBA will be announced at the same time. If GB is totally barebones with no Pokémon or Transfer Pak, then GBA might be announced at the same time.

Alternatively we wait all the way until September and then hopefully get a combined GB/GBC/GBA announcement.
 
I remember ahead of E3 2021, some insiders were telling people not to get too excited about Nintendo's E3 Direct and then of course it was widely regarded as the best show that E3 and it had the return of 2D Metroid.

Listen, when I asked Nate to confirm Orville Redenbacher theory a couple days ago, he said he wouldn’t confirm or deny anything.

That can only mean OR theory is correct, there is no other way to interpret that message.

E3 is dead. Nintendo has no games.. Nintendo is doomed. Switch 2 was canceled but we all got a bowl of Orville Redenbacher popcorn.

Direct may or may not occur soony.
 
Can we make it to page 333 until tomorrow? i feel like my bet of how many pages until Direct announcement is too high…

We have a popcorn theory, leaked video of vouchers coming back, doom posting about Nintendo’s future games lineup after May. Smoke is staring to fill up the board, so the fire has got to be close.

or it’s the usual hype train headed for the eventual let down
