Did the intro for Kamiwaza. This game is as goofy as heck mechanically and I’m here for it. Think I’m swapping over to start a live a live story now tho

I think I'm gonna ring in the new year with Radical Dreamers.

Happy New Year everyone! I'm running out the year by starting Harvestella, which has already gotten me intrigued about the plot. I get the feeling my farm may end up being a mess though, haha.
 
I'm already recognizing music from Chrono Cross here in Radical Dreamers. And the intro was basically the same! Some of the writing, too. I knew CC was based on the concept and characters of RD but I had no idea to what extent. I wonder what it must've been like for people who played this in 96 to then get a massively expanded version a few years later.

Changed out a faulty light bulb, hung the laundry, bought some groceries and repurposed leftovers into a halfway decent lunch

Feels good, being a functional person

It's officially 2023 over here, so happy new year Fami!

2023 will be a good year. Not because of anything predestined or because the world will be magically better. It will be a good year because we will make it so. We will continue to fight for the common good, caring for our fellow people and making the world a better place than we left it in any way we can. That's the energy I want to bring into the new year.

I do not say this to be rude. I say this because it's a fun fact that a lot of people don't know about. Now I'm old and use a computer, so I'm not sure if the menus are different on mobile and what you or anyone reading this is using. However, if you go to Site, near the bottom of the list is the Banned Users List. It shows everyone that has been banned, why, and for how long. You can see that Racoon has requested to be banned until March.
 
One thing I'm very much appreciating about Radical Dreamers is how many Chrono Trigger sound effects it uses. I'm getting a nostalgia trip just from that.

Not to mention how gorgeous (and apparently quite good overall, I hear) the most recent DreamWorks animation was.

CG studios are finally getting their asses in gear. Pixar's been top of that heap for too long, I'm happy to see some legit competition (in the mainstream feature space I mean, not tryina delegitimize the incredible smaller studios that are out there cranking out masterpieces for streaming)

Honestly, just games postponed to next year or short games releases so I’d have time to play them and advance in my backlog.

(by the way, I don’t know if here’s the place for that but I’d be very down doing the June ST)

Exactly! Spiderverse is a great blend of style and substance. Mario movie's got the style. It looks the part. The references are on point. But the substance? Hmm.

Gosh, it's two hours into the new year and I'm already talking about the Mario movie, save me.

I feel kinda guilty for this but.. yeah. I agree. One of the weirdly helpful things about the WiiU release schedule was I could focus on games, but now it's like a nonstop deluge of fantastic stuff. I've said it before but if the next Nintendo system doesn't do as well it'd almost be a relief to me as I could maybe finally catch up. 😅

Oh and as far as you putting your name in for June, I can mark you in the list on the OP just as soon as I, uh.. find out if that's all it officially takes. 😅 @Red Monster is that all it officially takes?
