Congrats Fami we have been able to fill 100 pages of speculation alone
Yup lol. Def feel better about missing out on that on day 1.The nice thing about that franchise is that since Ubisoft is publishing it, I can patiently wait and will get it for $20 rather quickly
I really hope that game turns out great.Sports story....
Okay so a while back I believed the 14th because I have a medical appointment scheduled that day, but it's in the afternoon and therefore wouldn't really interfere with a Direct, and now the 14th is shown to be Xbox's day. I shoulda known.
But now
My dad has a medical appointment that I'll need to accompany him to.. at 9 in the morning.. on the 16th.

You mean 55 minutes23 hours until the announcement
can we get it to 200 before the direct is announced?Congrats Fami we have been able to fill 100 pages of speculation alone
Underwater gameplay. Blue Pikmin and Rock Pikmin can walk underwater, while a new mint-green Pikmin has a tadpole like appearance and can swim-swam around. They're too light to gather things off the floor, so you use the rock and blue Pikmin to pass things to the swim-swammers to get stuff out the water easily. The swim-swammers can also pass things up to pink Pikmin, who hover just above the water. So if Pikmin 4 does get revealed what would you like to see out of it?
To be fair, and seeing as there seems to be an appetite for chat and supposition without 'insider talk', Fire Emblem would be 'due' around now anyway. My assumption was that it would be late 2022 or early 2023 based purely on development cycles.Emily also thought the next Fire Emblem should have announced or released much sooner.
Nintendo General Discussion |ST7 Apr. 2022| Launch Timing Update For ST7 Sequel
In the interest of transparency, staff would like to point out in the general discussion thread the following statement made by the team this morning: https://famiboards.com/threads/staff-statement-regarding-moderator-ban.2697/famiboards.com
To build on the above, Three Houses had its first trailer and proper reveal at E3 2018 with a target launch window of spring 2019 (which it missed). By that precedent, I'm actually fairly certain we see a mainline Fire Emblem title reveal this month.Question, based on Emily's comment - do you think there's a chance that Fire Emblem could get annouced at this June Direct?
Switch exclusives?
That's no way to talk about Ubisoft!Probably some 3rd party who didn't want to pay for the Direct spot and opted for poor man's E3 instead
Said it before multiple times but I'm really not convinced we get a Zelda port if Breath of the Wild 2 is launching in the first half of 2023. I don't think Nintendo need another huge seller, either; Splatoon and Pokemon are two huge titles. If you stick Metroid Prime, Bayonetta 3, Mario + Rabbids 2, maybe Fire Emblem, and a 1-2 Switch sequel in the September through December period on top of that - plus perhaps something like Dragon Quest - then you've got a diverse line-up that ticks a lot of different boxes.Question is, what is the most likely non-pokƩmon holiday game out of a new IP, Zelda game or Prime? I have a feeling that Metroid isn't oozing "holiday" really. Maybe Zelda ports, but I'm leaning towards new game we haven't heard of.
Others have said it, but Tropical Freeze on Switch alone is actually approaching the 4 million mark. People really underestimate DK.I think that it's important to note that some of them are slightly niche titles. Remasters tend not to sell quite as well as new titles as well, I believe.
Something like Bayonetta 3 or Advance Wars is really exciting for the people that want those games, and they'll probably all be 1M sellers just because of how popular the Switch is, but they aren't system movers. Even something like DK Tropical Freeze "only" sold around 4M lifetime on Wii U and Switch I believe. They can pack the lineup if they want and they actually might since of those games only Splatoon and Pokemon would be absolutely massive.
Switch exclusives?
I didn't know that Ubisoft weren't in the logo list or even that there was a logo list; it was just a complete guess. Like I said, it could also easily be an indie; it doesn't necessarily mean there's some huge third-party title waiting to be dropped.I dont get the logic for M+R, Ubisoft and Nintendo's logos are not in their partners list.

I mean I win either way. Itāll be in the Nintendo Direct.I dont get the logic for M+R, Ubisoft and Nintendo's logos are not in their partners list.

He does that everytime... He Hype Up is Shows (SGF, Games, Gamecom Opening Night, TGA) and then he tells to lower expectations? Why?
He added: āSo weāre doing some good stuff for you, but definitely manage your expectations in terms of the megaton shocks that youāre expecting. This is not The Game Awards. Weāve got lots of good stuff to show you but buyer beware of some of the crazy rumors Iām seeing out there in terms of things people expect to get announced.ā
If the formula works then rinse and repeat. He does that everytime... He Hype Up is Shows (SGF, Games, Gamecom Opening Night, TGA) and then he tells to lower expectations? Why?

This year I promise will be soooo amazing ar game awards!! World premier world premiere world premiere. Amazing please stay tuned in tune stay!I'm probably never going to watch any of Geoff's shows ever again lol Pure waste of time
Some of you guys are addicted to cynicism.I've seen a couple people say this and it's such a great idea
June is a little too early for a big Zelda blowout, too early to talk about new hardware (if it's even real), and too early for 2023 in general. Meanwhile, fall already has a lot of games detailed, and the rumored ones seem pretty low-key. Not doing anything until September would be a totally viable marketing strategy

Or, you know, an honest mistake when guessing?complete and utter wishful thinking.

When Pikmin 4 is releasing and when Miyamoto is going to be allowed to leave Nintendo EPD basementI decided to become an insider like Nate. AMA
Nintendo attended E3 and did the June Directs even when they had few of their own announcements to make for later in the year. E3 2019 didn't have a single first party reveal for later that year. 2018 had one. 2017 didn't have any. Those years all had a focus on Nintendo games for the following year and third parties.I've seen a couple people say this and it's such a great idea
