Ok y’all so my grandpa has made a YouTube channel for his Zelda videos. He’s a massive BotW fan. He’s very excited to make content, but is very nervous. I’m helping him with filming and editing, but he’ll be doing all the commentary and gaming.

Damn Octo Expansion is sick so far. Mad vibes.
Can’t believe I waited this long to play it.

Hopefully the Splatoon 3 campaign is this good and they don’t hold the good stuff back for DLC again. The base game Splatoon 2 campaign was so lame and vanilla. Was like a level pack for the first game.

That's the problem, I have played all Zero Escape games 😭. I have watched Steins;Gate the first anime but that was like in 2013 or so lol. I can't remember much but I was planning to buy the game on Switch but turns out it's the anime art style and not the original hand drawn artstyle which looks wayyyy better imo.

In terms of Hybrid VNs, I think I played all the high quality ones.

I'm just eagerly waiting for:

AI Somnuim Files: Nirvana

Enigma Archives: Rain Code (Danganronpa team and hopefully it comes to Switch)

Project M (New mystery detective game from Fata Morgana team)

Ace Attorney 7 (Hopefully it's real and not cancelled)

The anime is trash compared to the VN tbh. I watched it after and it’s like skimming the main plot points on Wikipedia.

But yeah I played the Vita version with the beautiful art. If you have a way to play that one I’d recommend it (PS3/Vita, maybe there’s a Pc version…?)

Is Sunbreak getting a seperate physical release like Iceborne did?

Rise has been out of stock at a couple retailers here for a bit which I find odd.
 
Speaking of the mouse, possible hot take; Epic Mickey is a good and underrated game.

It definitely has its issues in terms of polish, but as someone who grew up with the 3D platformers of the 90s, I found it a charming throwback to that era of gaming with style to spare and some of the most effort ever put into a third party Wii game.

It isn’t only ‘physical’ Sunbreak release will be MH:Rise+Sunbreak and Sunbreak will only be a code.

It’s a Capcom game they are really stingy with reprints especially of Switch games to push people to buy digital, this is an issue especially if you are from a ‘small region’

Hmm I haven’t had this issue on other platforms, must be a Switch thing.

World was easy to get super late for like $19, wanted to get physical Rise cheap too..
 
Congo's Caper is a reskin of Joe & Mac. The enemies from the video are exactly the same besides the devil having a different head.
 
Just got out of a Top Gun Maverick screening. Holy fuck that was awesome! I've never seen the first movie and Maverick was still the second best movie I've seen this year (first place is Everything Everywhere). Wow.

In Switch case producing copies is more expensive than PS4/Xbox one so they don’t print as much . Other platforms Capcom also doesn’t print as much outside of their big franchises though havent seen a Megaman 11 copy in the wild since 2019

In other news, my Moon Knight omnibus came! And it’s absolutely incredible.

Congo's Caper is actually the real Joe & Mac 2. Localisation shenanigans. The Joe & Mac 2 on NSO should really be Joe & Mac 3 (and it is in PAL regions). Pretty great game actually.

Umihara Kawase is the real standout here though, great addition.

Beat em up was THE genre back then. Like todays FPS. It's the genre that mattered, rest were just side dishes. I knew a few people who got SNES or Mega Drive and played nothing but Double Dragon or Final Fight.

Hello gang. I had a small selection of 3 beers after work with new friends and got bit by mosquitoes. Now I am eating a burger and watching the Simpsons so it has been a successful evening.

Let me tell you all about manholes. If you're going to be lifting some manholes, it's best not to be skinny and short. If you're skinny, you probably weigh less than many manholes in which case, you'll just be moving yourself you're pulling on the manhole. If you're short, you may not have enough height to life the manhole up safely. You either have to lift your arms up higher or put more of your back into it, which are not good options.

On a side note, I'll be taking some pain killers and rubbing on Icy Hot before bed.

The Benefits in being born and raised in a Desert area means that anything below 103 degrees rarely effects me.


The negatives is that the sticky and sweating feeling does not go away.

I haven't been to an IMAX movie in years and years, though I used to love it (a city near enough to comfortably drive to has one of the few original, full-size IMAX theaters as opposed to the retrofitted IMAX Digital stuff that's common), and something about my love of practical effects and photography in film told me "go see this the right way" so I have tickets for IMAX on Saturday. I'm surprised to now hear how good everyone says it is (I expected a regular Tom Cruise action flick that's simply well-shot) but I'm actually getting excited now.
