Super Robot Wars be like:

Sure, SRW exists, but it hinges on having a connection with so many different IP. There's something compelling about a medieval/industrial age Fire Emblem game that makes this the "gimmick." Plus the art was great.

I get that, was just joking. That said, if you are interested in Super Robot Wars besides the crossover gimmick you could try Super Robot Wars OG, a subseries featuring original characters, scenarios and mechs.

I think everyone should reclock the set this week because I don’t see anything getting announced until at least next week.

Is there an actual reason for reseting the clock or are we just reading to much in patterns(™)

Man instead of that garbage 1-2 sequel we’re about to get Nintendo really should’ve done a sequel to Nintendo Land.

We know about the ports/remasters MP, TPHD, etc
We don't actually know about any of those, though. If none of those would turn out to be true it'd be "No insider is 100%", "Plans change" etc., so why are things treated like confirmed? They aren't until an official announcement.

Nowadays I've noticed almost all trailers are at 22:00 japan time and not 23:00, so its not really good to expect stuff outside of 22:00

Leave me alone. Idc about your angst against insiders.

People like Nate, Emily and Jeff Grubb actually have credibility and such, unlike some others who mostly use that excuse like "oh plans change". At least when it happens to let's say Nate, he actually researches why it happened and tries to give us as good and thorough explanation as he can.

Something happened at the beginning of the year that completely flew under everyone's radar. Based on a comment by someone from KT people were talking about a potential Super Mario Warriors game. Nate came along and proclaimed that KT couldn't work on a Warriors game, because they were working on FE. You don't need insider information to know that that's completely wrong, you can just look at the release schedule.

2017 Fire Emblem Warriors
2018 Hyrule Warriors
2019 Fire Emblem Three Houses
2020 Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity
2022 Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes

While KT churns out Warriors games like it nobody's business, I doubt they'd only need a few months to develop them, on top of it being different teams, so there had to be overlap when it comes to development schedules. No "Plans change" needed, this is as simple as putting 1 and 1 together; Warriors games and FE can be developed alongside each other. Then Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes was announced.

I think everybody is participating in these discussion under an unspoken agreement that insiders word is not official. There's no need to "prove" to anyone anything. You're punching the wind.

Another reliable insider was Zell/Tsubasa. But he retired a while ago.

I still remember before Sword & Shield, Zell had said he heard that Game Freak was working on a Pokemon game that took heavy inspiration from Zelda and was going to be Pokemon's "Breath of the Wild" moment. Zell got so much shit when Sword & Shield were revealed.

They likely were hearing about Legends: Arceus.

Or maybe preproduction on Scarlet and Violet. S&V have probably been in development for a while.

Nobody believed him for that "Mario on Playstation" thing but I still believe in him. It'll happen. Not soon but someday. We got Ezio collection this year and getting Arkham collection soon, I wouldn't expect something much bigger like Halo sooner than those.

You don't even need to look at the timing of just the Warriors games. In 2019, Koei Tecmo delivered both Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Fire Emblem Three Houses for Nintendo because, you know, they're made separate studios.

For some reason I still remember that one account that pretended to be leaking BotW2 information with their first post, got sulky over nobody believing them in their second post, and was never heard of again.

The thing with Arceus is that all of the leads also worked on either SwSh, Giga Wrecker Alt, or Little Town Hero, all of which released in 2019. The game was likely in pre-production by late 2018/early 2019, but I imagine that full production didn't start until SwSh was wrapping up.

It's also very unlikely that SV would have been known about back then. I wouldn't be surprised if it shares the same leads as SwSh and/or its DLC (Ohmori, Turner, Tani, Adachi etc.)

I'm not entirely sure when all this talk happened, though.

I do kind of have a crackpot theory that Scarlet and Violet have been in development a lot longer than expected but I guess we won't really know until the true scope of the game is revealed. I just doubt the fact that Game Freak would be able to develop SV in the same amount of the time as SwSh, plus during covid, considering the already massive difference that's apparent between the two

It almost feels like to me SwSh was rushed solely so they could focus on making Gen 9 instead, but obviously nobody knows for sure yet. At the very least I'm confident this'll be a Gen 6 to Gen 7 type of situation where the second generation on the console is a massive jump in quality over the first

King Zell is a legit insider.

He leaked MH Rise 2 years before it was released (he talked about it around march 2019)

I’m sure he probably knows lots of stuff, sadly he isn’t in the business anymore :(.

Remember guys, sadly some games took a considerable time from the moments its leaked to its announcement. Example; metroid dread was leaked just less than a month after Samus Returns was released, thats 4 years early!

Another example; vergeben leaked neo the world ends with you at late 2017 (before the port of 1st title was announced!), thats around 3.5 years!!

Most things leakes nowdays, there are various ways for something to be leaked except smash dlc characters lol.

I remember the wave of chaos with the Mario+Rabbids game rumors. It went from believable to IDK maybe to OMG these leakers are all liars!!!!

The best part was when people started to run with the theory that leakers mixed up the "supposed" Mario+Rabbids game with this game......

Oh yeah, its was originally leaked as a “Yoshi x Rabbids” crossover at july/august 2016, before the official Switch reveal and in the NX days lol.

I remember when the game didn’t showed up on january presentation, some people were pissed, and as you mentioned, the conspiracy theories started saying that maybe the game didn’t exist and it was the confusion you mentioned lol.

The worst case is star fox gp made by retro studios though…

Source for the Sora amiibo thing?
When they issued the final Super Smash Bros Ultimate update/balance patch, it included amiibo data for the rest of the fighters, up to and including Kazuya. Sora amiibo data simply doesn’t exist in the game’s code and they’re done updating the game.

I recall him saying it was indeed Halo, which links to comments by Nate Drake on the miracle. Obviously it seems there were some issues down the road, but two quite reliable people saying similar things indicate it truly was something around that.
