I'm just poking a little fun. But I do think people often ignore the bounty of amazing games that are coming out because they put up artificial barriers and vague checklists. Seriously, there are a ton of gamers out and are coming that I know people would enjoy if only they gave them a chance. You say you're not interested in cutesy games but what does that even mean? Is Pokemon Cutesy? Is Mario? Zelda? Is Bayonetta not cutesy given her whole persona? It's a vague concept and I think you are potentially cutting yourself off from finding a game you would enjoy simply because you perceive it as cutesy, even if most wouldn't agree.
By cute i didn't mean literally something cute, more like something that appeals mostly to younger audiences. No its not like '' oh me so adult me only plays mature games'' i just aint the biggest fan of it. Someone will absolutely mock me for this but i think mario is more ''family'' than ''more specifically aimed at younger people'' like kirby. Why? No idea. It just feels like that. Could apply the same absurd concept to Sonic, Crash (god i loved crash 4), Donkey Kong, etc.

Im saying that because i did play a few kirby games, that one called amazing mirror i think, a bit of that one with the stylus on the DS, return to dreamland, the 3ds and switch battle royale, and the demos for star allies and forbidden land.

Bayo is not what i'd consider cute for sure, more like borderline pornographic lul. I know you meant her personality but even then.

Thankfully, the Target deal worked for me and I have Xenoblade Chronicles 3 preordered. Now @bellydrum will hopefully think I'm cool. 🥺

Speaking of Xenoblade and cool, you know what would be VERY poggers? If Nintendo released Xenoblade Chronicles 1 for a fifth time before blessing the world with a Xenoblade Chronicles X port or sequel.

This Summer is absolutely loaded.

FE Three Hopes and Sominum Files on the same day in June, Monster Hunter Sunbreak a few days later. Then Live A Live a month later, Xenoblade 3 a week after that, and Digimon Survive on the same day. And then August has Soul Hackers 2.

As a JRPG fiend, I am overwhelmed.

My Min Min amiibo finally arrived. I am once again asking Nintendo and Square to confirm that there will be a Sora amiibo.
The last Smash update is out and they have data for all Amiibo except Sora. I don’t think it’s happening. Blame Disney.

I already thought you were cool. What now?

Pet peeve, but I hate how in media, people can easily lift up manhole covers without much effort, especially the ones in the middle of the road. These things often weigh dozens to over 100 pounds. They are also usually sealed with the road with debris asphalt. To get one open, my coworker and I have to usually bang on the lid with a sledge hammer to loosen it up and use a screw driver to chip away the surrounding debris. We then have to use a manhole hook to lift it open. Even then, we only lift it high to get it open and then we draft the lid away from the hole itself.

Bonus facts: the reason why most manhole lids are circular so the lid won't fall into the hole no matter which way you turn it.
How I am imagining this:

Finally got an interview for a management position that I’m confident I can nail the interview.

Started getting depress since I’ve gotten no call backs after months of applying everywhere and no taking lower level positions in a effort to try and get a job at my current level.

I get texted whenever a game is given a release date on Nintendo's eShop. This is thanks to a script I wrote.

Tonight I got my first text from this script - apparently Super Bullet Break was just given an August 12th, 2022 release date for the Switch.

I can't confirm it anywhere online, so I'm wondering if it's not supposed to be public yet.

This is basically the peak Switch software year even without BOTW2.

That's saying something considering how great the launch year was.

If you weebs don’t have an NFL team, you do now.

Though I urge you not to support a team that left its hometown of 50 years for LA just because tax payers wouldn’t give them money for a new stadium in San Diego.

Make every game intro this season like that, my god.

Disney, I just spent hundreds of dollars at your park over the last week. I demand satisfaction!

Minus Monster Hunter Sunbreak this is my exact lineup and man its killer but also killing me

I have come to the conclusion that Yoshi’s Story is supremely underrated.

This shit’s actually a good game. Biggest issue is the loose controls compared to Island, but the other changes are just different, not bad.

I really did enjoy AI The somnium files.

I also have a massive backlog of Switch VNs, only second to my retirement level of Switch RPGs. I also remember AI 1 absolutely cratering in price and getting sales over and over again.

Looks like Crystal Shards is next week.

My N64 controller has a good chance of arriving just in time for this!
I still wonder where Custom Robo V1 is… probably paired with Pokémon snap. Still curious to see if they reveal a roadmap 2 in their June presentation

We really need another Kirby game with the power combo mechanic. It’s actually kinda unbelievable it didn’t become the standard. Crystal Shards isn’t even half the game it is without that.

You'll knock it out of the park!

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitiver Edition

The Age of Men is over.

The Time of the Weeb has begun.
Looks like Pocky's back on the menu, boys!

imagine an anime movie winning best picture
Anime can't even win best animated feature ffs

Top Gun: Maverick getting insanely great reviews. As someone who finds the first movie extremely mid, I can't wait to check it out.
I actually really want this to be legitimately good. The camerawork looks absolutely incredible, and there's something visceral and dare I say beautiful about having so much of the plane scenes actually filmed practically instead of greenscreen all the theengs. You can just tell when something is happening in-lens and for all the gnarliness about his personal life I really appreciate Cruise's dedication to outrageous, real stunts. I might even hit up an IMAX, maybe.
