I can relate. I've had a sinus headache the past 3 days. And today, I'm starting to recover, but it pretty much put me off from actually engaging with social media.

Yes. It is very fun in addition to being a decent fitness tool. I wouldn’t expect to add mass with it, but could lean/tone with the exercises if you up the intensity and play routinely. As a game, it’s a great RPG.

With Summer Geoff Fest being dated for June 9 now, I actually kinda hope Nintendo decides to drop the Direct in May just so he can't retweet it and insist it's part of his event.
I mean, I don't expect them to, but I want them to just for the lulz
 
Yeah it seems that the Nintendo Direct will be around that time if they keep up with their June Direct. A May direct would be a welcoming surprise tho.

If christmas was announced on Twitter in december he‘d retweet it and claim it to be part of Summer Game Fest

They would go bankrupt if they weren't able to get bilions in profit every year, you just can't understand it ,there is no money to hire new workers. Hope this small company financial situation improves.

If I were Nintendo, I'd found couple of new studios and poach as many talent as possible from Square with that money. Ishii, Asano, Kawazu, Nomura, So many, that Square would be nothing more than a hollow shell.

Maybe Davide from Ubi Milan too. Dude will get wasted there.

If Ubi and SE are at risk of getting bought out by Sony or Microsoft I really do hope Asano and Davide get poached to form Nintendo studios. Maybe shell out for the Bravely/Octopath/Triangle IPs as well (though that might be tricky for Bravely with their ties to FF)

While ideally none of these companies will get bought out I'd rather Nintendo be able to keep the output of those teams. They really do fill pretty significant niches that I'd be very sad to see go
 
To poach Davide or any from Ubi Milan, Nintendo would need to create a studio in Milan, and Milan is no cheap city to create a studio in and Nintendo doesn't seem to care that much about creating dev studios in Europe.

Asano has not directed/produced a console game for a non-Nintendo platform since 2006 he may be the only Nintendo loyalist in the JP industry nowadays lol, I would be surprised if he doesn't join Monolith Soft (it would be cooler if Nintendo made a studio for him and other JRPG devs to focus on 2D JRPGs though) if SE gets acquired.

In any case of Sony acquisition, there would be layoffs. Sony doesn't have money to throw around like MS, whatever they buy has to be profitable and has to be real quick.

Sony literally is the worst company to buy anything, they have shut down more studios than anyone else. Let's hope they won't turn things ugly with hostile takeovers.

While not particularly a Nintendo "loyalist", Kawazu and SaGa team prioritize handheld development. Mana/remaster team led by Nishikado is also a big supporter of Nintendo.

It's also worth noting that Square outsources most of their higher budget games: Stranger of Paradise, Dissidia, Star Ocean 6, that latest Valkyrie Profile game and Nier Automata they're all done by external studios. None of them will be included with the SE purchase. Sounds like a bad deal.

As for Davide, Nintendo could form a studio in any city in Europe, not just Milan. It's time they had one in Europe. Maybe they'll get Michel Ancel too, he worked with Davide in the past.

Yes. There’s tons of songs and challenges. If you like music games I think it’s definitely worth trying. Pretty unique too if you haven’t played a Groove Coaster before. It was my first one.

Davide has worked in Italy almost his life and has all his family and friends there, moving him out of Milan would be really hard for Nintendo to do so, especially when you consider he has worked in Ubisoft since 1997.

Finally bit the bullet on an Expansion Pass sub and played some Mario Golf with my N64 controller. Goddamn this is incredible.

N64 VC always felt super awkward using other controllers but this is just divine. Another 6-12 months adding more games and this service is my dream come true.

Side note Mario Golf is evil and the information it gives you to calculate your shots are nothing but lies.
