I saw them live around ten years ago and it's probably still the most powerful live music experience I've had. It was such an immensely emotional performance, I was competely blown away.

Listening to the debut album by The Last Dinner Party. These girls rock. The Feminine Urge is one of the best songs ever. Absolutely monstrous hooks.

Beautiful stuff. Better than the original, especially on account of how the lead guitar is so damn clear. It does some awesome stuff I had never noticed listening to the original mix. What a tune that one is.
 
I just finished the game like a week or so ago but the main theme (and some of the ost) is still stuck in my head




And the other one is an song (one of my favorites) I overheard on the radio. Its from a PR band that I listen as a kid and I even styled myself as the main singer as a teen 😅

I needed to feel sad for a bit so I listened to Skies of Arcadia : Credits, because it is 100% synchronised with the epilogue of one of the story I'm writing.
Then I listened to Baba Yetu and it makes me tear up -every single time-. Especially since I think about using it for my wedding with my BF.

Right now I'm listening to Overwork that I found out by watching a YT show called "Weird Movies With Mark" (previously "Fanboy Flicks"), since he uses Overwerk's music as a closure for his vids (and leaves a link to OW's account).

I like his songs a lot. Some of his tracks also inspired me for the second story I'm working on, like Sense ft. iKell and Parallel w Pilotpriest.

Steve Albini passed. Landmark producer/music engineer whose breadth of work is massive and covers a lot of landmark albums that I've recently started digging into. Hearing he worked on the Pixie's Surfer Rosa and Nirvana's In Utero among countless others is wild. One of my personal favorites is PJ Harvey's Rid of Me.
