Which heavily rumored "it's absolutely gonna show up this time" game are we NOT going to see?

Things are less chaotic because Furukawa already said there'd be a Direct. Without that, you'd have plenty of people (like last year) insisting a Direct won't happen and true chaos would be here because you'd have people who rationally think it will happen as well as people using vibes, patterns and shitposting to manifest a Direct.

without that Furukawa tweet there'd probably be a bunch of people in here expecting there to be some sort of Switch 2 announcement this month too

Imagine if that tweet didn’t include a Direct mention and Nintendo just let people know when they announced the Direct date. There would be insane chaos.
 
I would have probably had to step away from the forum if Furukawa's statement never mentioned the June Direct lol, the pessimism and chaos in here would be unprecedented in the switch era IMO

honestly at this point, we’re pretty confident in the 18th.

we can consider a 3 situation
directs normally is announced in 2 days advance , but because tuesday is in between sunday and a national holiday , probably is gonna be announced on a monday , thats why pyoro tweet ," where (the 2 days before announcement) direct ?" but will be only 1 day before
 
Honestly I’m glad they gave us the month notice. It definitely helped with keeping expectations in check with both the date and the announcements within it.

i dont think pyoro lost his soucers yet , but i belive the souce went for a pause for now , if he lost the souce he would say now

It's because they think his sources are linked to YouTube because he doesn't leak months in advance, and there's now confirmation things got leaked via the YT backend in the past.

yeah , and next week we have gamescon latam witch nintendo will take part (but i belive will be more for brazil/latam exclusive announcements like the oficial launch of amiibo here )

Intend to believe this because we got to know in this thread that direct dates are kinda defined at the last minute.

Nah, I choose July 2nd. I don't trust Furukawa. My blind belief surpasses the knowledge and knowhow of the most rational people. Delusions of Grandeur make me immune to criticism from people using facts and logic.

Past few Directs have been announced 24 hours in advance IIRC, with the exception of the Partner Showcase back in February? I believe?

Considering how barbones Nintendo's support is around here in Latin America, I don't expect anything special from them.

We're talking about a company that doesn't even localize all their games to Brazilian Portuguese.

yeah , but i agree as a brazilian , but i belive now they are more focusing on a great localization start for switch 2 than for the switch 1

i belive we can see amiibo being oficial released here , since they starting to get trading marks for it

But lets start focus againn in direct , we have 2 cases

case 1 : announcement on monday , direct on tuesday

case 2 : announcement and direct on next week , probably near gamescon latam

either case , it will probably be the last dance for switch 1

We knew the month and the odds were good for a couple dates so not much buzz till it gets officially announced. Tho no leaks would have interesting effects

Probably because he has leaked so much stuff that has come true. Nate has never leaked entire directs or a ton of game reveals. Pyoro clearly has a very direct source whereas I think Nate probably has more tertiary sources.
 
While it is does break the pattern we saw from Pyoro the last three Directs to not have some type of idea of a single game that'll show up, I did go back to their June Direct stuff last year and they did do about half of their leaks the day before the announcement and the other half the day of the announcement so I could see there still being something later today or early tomorrow?

Something that I think went under the radar a little is that, outside of the Nintendo titles from the June Direct last year that they teased, they also teased that Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince would be in it (which it was). It's a weird observation but I just wanted to add that on here since it seems like that's the last thing that is missing for the vibe to be the Direct is this week!
