That’s assuming retro tracks are a thing considering almost all of them will be in this game by the end of it. I wonder if they’ll just have 40 or so original tracks in the next one since it’ll have been around a decade since 8 first released anyway.I feel gravity mechanics have to return just so they can have MK8 retro tracks.
No luck on my end.Anyone from America with luck? Or are we going to suffer for a while?
We’ve got major leaks! They accidentally left behind the origin game for every track.
The non-real life new tour tracks aren’t labeled for some reasonWhy isn't Ninja Hideaway labelled as a Tour track while Tokyo Promenade is?
Lmao oh?Weird… you can drive through the mushroom decoration on Shroom Ridge
Ah, I see. Atm these tracks are Merry Mountain and Ninja Hideaway, right? According to Mario Wiki, they don't have multiple versions, so perhaps they were design with the DLC in mind? The non-real life new tour tracks aren’t labeled for some reason
it's entirely possible, if not likely. ninja hideaway is a real odd standout among the tour tracks in the amount of routes and general verticality of it that it really doesn't fit with the rest of the game. merry mountain is a lot simpler by comparison, but it's still notable for not having a bunch of obvious variations built into the geometry like the city tracks doAh, I see. My brain is to slow for 200ccSo where does everyone plan on starting? 150 CC or 200 CC?
150cc first to learn the tracks and then 200cc with the memorized tracks. Not gonna bother with 50cc or 100cc.So where does everyone plan on starting? 150 CC or 200 CC?
200cc is not that hard. You just need to learn how to brake (using the B button). The difficult part is to brake on purpose, because we have been playing decades of Mario Kart without needing to brake. You need to drift while braking. My brain is to slow for 200cc
Hmm I‘m not so sure.it's entirely possible, if not likely. ninja hideaway is a real odd standout among the tour tracks in the amount of routes and general verticality of it that it really doesn't fit with the rest of the game. merry mountain is a lot simpler by comparison, but it's still notable for not having a bunch of obvious variations built into the geometry like the city tracks do
i wouldn't be too surprised if a some tour-original courses were envisioned as a potential set of DLC for 8 first, before they decided they could pull double duty with them
I was thinking the same!Ah, I see. Atm these tracks are Merry Mountain and Ninja Hideaway, right? According to Mario Wiki, they don't have multiple versions, so perhaps they were design with the DLC in mind?
I know. But it is almost always to late.200cc is not that hard. You just need to learn how to brake (using the B button). The difficult part is to brake on purpose, because we have been playing decades of Mario Kart without needing to brake. You need to drift while braking.
Once your brain accepts that change, everything clicks.
Lmaoooooooo Nintendo wtf
Shit; a bunch of tracks are leaked here.
i'm not saying that the final version we got was what was hypothetically intended to show up in 8, just that it shows a level of complexity that none of the other courses originating from tour have, so it's not that big a stretch to think it was originally designed for another title. what we've got now is definitely tailored for the mobile game, but still stands out among everything else that's come out alongside itHmm I‘m not so sure.
There are some design flaws in the ported ninja track like the stairs at the beginning being way to big because the cars are smaller now and the same low poly models and scaled track+geometry like in the other courses. I doubt that would have happened if they were planing to include it into MK8 from start.
However I do think that this track shows a glimpse to a potential future of courses in a next Mariokart game structured more like levels.
LMFAO

Two up from Luigi’s left hand (far right in the picture) in Mondo’s picture looks like a Super NES Mario Circuit.
My God lol this is the leakiest EPD game in a long time.
Shit; a bunch of tracks are leaked here.
Don’t know if we can trust this 100%. There are two shots of choco mountain showing the RMX version which is obviously not included in the DLC
