September 6th Tour will probably be a rerun of Sky High SundaeMadrid being next would fit with how the devs announced a 3-tour summer event. Usually the 3rd tour in such an event has a big showcase track so it wouldve been weird if they made the finale a filler tour.
The question now is what do they do for the Tour on September 6th? Will it just be filler or do they have something special planned. We can surmise September 20th is the 4th anniversary and the final new tour for the game since we still need the tracks Athens 3, Rome 3, and Madrid 3.

The final new Mario Kart course for the foreseeable future:
Only issue with this timeline is that, assuming the release date is a week after the trailer, we’d be getting Wave 6 a mere 1-2 days before Wonder. Odds of that happening are pretty much nonexistent.I know the full Madrid trailer for Tour is imminent but there's always room for some 8DX speculation first. The Switch news feed is already starting to cover the Wave 5 tracks; the Japanese post for Athens going up today. For the last few waves, the full trailer for the following wave dropped within a week or so of the final track from the preceeding wave being covered. Wave 4's timing, for reference:

Torrijas Churros.
As a Spaniard, I laughed a lot.
pretty sure it's supposed to be a completely new DK course based on the data minePrediction of wave 6 tracks with percentage :
GCN DK Mountain (80%)
Nope. MOBDK was Mobile Dokan, also known as Piranha Plant Pipeline. There are no more new tracks coming.pretty sure it's supposed to be a completely new DK course based on the data mine
What are the main reasons for the engagements, if going by the comments? Surely it's not because of the game's approaching exhaustion of new content? It's actually great that the tweets for Madrid on the Mario Kart Tour twitter have had tons of engagement.
It looks like Spanish people obsessing over the track. What are the main reasons for the engagements, if going by the comments? Surely it's not because of the game's approaching exhaustion of new content?
Thank you for reading.
high end, the premium tier that generally needs to be bought with rubies
What is "HE Driver", please? What does "HE" mean?
Damn, so this really is the last track! Other than variants of course. The news article will probably release next week on Wednesday.Seems like Nintendo will soon address the future of Mario Kart Tour very soon, take this news article title how you will...
Tick tock.
KoopaV straight up leaked an image of one of the new tracks (RMX Vanilla Lake 2)
It's an RMX track, so it isn't gonna make it in.If the SNES track isn't Bowser Castle 3, it better be this instead.
RMX tracks are just remixed SNES tracks. Just cut the SNES track and put this in for all I care. It's an RMX track, so it isn't gonna make it in.
I'm a big snowy/winter levels guy, so I'll take all that I can get!For me, that track in MK8D would be kinda lame as Snow Land is right there.
I also think we'll see a teaser with just one or two tracks and the characters, Piranha Plant Cove would be a good choice indeed !As we have now entered September and the countdown to the fabled September Direct ticks down, I want to spark a discussion about what parts of BCP Wave 6 will Nintendo show in the direct? I'll start:
I think it will be a teaser like every other time the pass has been shown off in a direct and it will show Piranha Plant Cove as the featured track of the teaser, along with Diddy Kong and Pauline as the final two characters of the pass.
However, I have hope there will be a big surprise for Wave 6, and that surprise will be: Character alts! If character alts do become a thing, I think some existing characters get merged such as Tanooki Mario merged with Mario (this actually works even if the stats are different because the Villagers in Wii U MK8 were alts with different stats to eachother) which then means more character slots will be filled and we get Funky Kong, Nabbit (tie in to Wonder), Hammer Bro (with fire and boomerang alts) etc. And the main cast get their Tour alts!
If there are no alts, just stick with Pauline and Diddy.
I am interested in what anyone else thinks they could show in a September Direct.
This is the only other thing I want from BCP at this point. Well that and a “Random” option for characters and karts selection. The only hope I have for a surprise is for a few vehicle parts
