Edit: I didn't try the others, but Resident Evil 5 above is taken by someone before me.

Reminder: please leave a comment about which key you redeemed if you took a game. Consider it a courtesy to the people doing the giveaways, plus it makes it easier to keep track of which games are still up for grabs. We might need to rethink the current system if people keep redeeming keys without saying anything.

It's been a serious problem, sadly. I struggle accepting people can't follow simple instructions, so I assume there's just a few bad actors spreading the codes.

yeah I don't think it's a lot of people. Unfortunately it can just be one person. It just leaves an extra bad taste in my mouth cause when new codes pop up I try to wait a couple days to claim cause I've claimed several codes already.

Not really sure how to stop the behavior other than putting up a list of games you have codes to and having people either claim in the thread or via dm and then send the code to them in dms. But that's so unnecessary lmao.

I tried to claim it earlier, but apparently I already have it.

I tried taking The Pale Beyond, A Case of Distrust, and About Love, Hate, and the Other Ones but they all said they were already redeemed. Am I doing it wrong or something?

No, I think the problem is people have claimed codes and not said anything so they’ve not been marked off the lists.

Just wanted to pop back in to thank you again for the free games! I said I was clearing my backlog but I decided to prioritize these 2 since it would've been pretty shitty if I claimed them for free and didn't play them until years in the future.

Wrath was a pretty fun boomer shooter that felt very good to even just move around in and it had a pretty fun roster of weapons and enemies, but I agree with most mixed reviews that say it overstays its welcome. When I started I didn't know it's divided in 3 hub worlds with 5 stages each - when I finished the first one assuming the game was over, I thought it's one of the best throwback FPS games without a doubt. The second hub was enjoyable overall, but I was ready to end it by the time I was finished, and then the third hub world had all the stages be these old-school labyrinthian designs and all of them were extremely long, annoying and frustrating, which left a very poor taste in my mouth despite enjoying the game overall. Also, while I enjoyed exploring most of the stages, there were really no memorable ones (I don't remember any of them now despite being less than a month since playing), which is pretty bad considering I can recall some of the levels in those 90s shooters that inspire the whole boomer shooter craze like Doom, Quake, Unreal or Half-Life despite not having played these in years.

Elex was a great, but very janky rpg, with everything you can expect from a Piranha Bytes game - boring and underwritten characters/writing, buggy and undercooked quest design, and a game feeling like it's barely holding at the seams. I know it sounds negative, but what PB games also have is very fun worlds to explore and a lot of SOUL (and also very fun combat imo, but some others might disagree). This is actually why I hadn't played it until now - from the outside it looked like it might be lacking those things because the setting/premise felt so soulless to me beforehand, since it felt like it's essentially a poor man's Fallout - a post apocalyptic world where one faction is using advanced tech, the other forbids tech and is more in tune with nature and magic, and the last one is outlaws that larp as cowboys. (Thankfully I was wrong and it has a lot of unique charm).
 
I’ve been noticing recently that most keys that people try to take are taken. You might want to change the system into something like asking for a key from a list of keys and then you give the key to them.
