I need to give Nausicaa another try. I watched it like a decade ago and thought it was just ok. Found it a bit boring. The video made the movie seem more interesting than what I remembered lol

At the time, I think I only had a Bachelors in Civil Engineering but now I have a Masters in Environmental Engineering so maybe my galaxy brain can now truly appreciate and comprehend this cinematic work of art.

Finished a big 2,000 piece puzzle that I had been working on almost every day since the 7th today. It actually got harder as it got more complete.
 
Honestly looks like One Piece live action has the potential to be one of those shows. A show big it grabs the pop culture scene by storm
 
Thinking of shelving Ishin for now and restarting Lost Judgment on Steam Deck so I can finish it in time for Gaiden.

People shouting how there desperately needs to be a PS5 Pro released today, not even 3 years after the console came out, because one indie game running on Unreal Engine 5 can't run at a high frame rate without all the graphical bells and whistles on is funny to me. People need to understand that game's can't do everything. High frame rate. Detailed environments. Lots of particle effects. Advance lighting. Big levels. Something(s) always got to give. Buying $500 pieces of hardware every two years isn't going to fix that.

Budget and experience are probably even bigger factors here than anything technical.

That's also true. I was going to write about how also most development teams won't be afforded the time, money, and manpower to do everything but then I forgot.
 
I remember when I got my PS5.

That new high power console with da best GRAPHICS! Finally get to those triple A games.

And I just play mostly Slay the Spire and Yugioh on it cause i like those games too much. I dropped Re 4 remake after a few hours recently tho. I should finish it. It was a gift 😐

I used to be an old coot who didn't even watch TV. I liked the serial format that was more common in Japan and England, which meant I was finding and watching stuff online if I was in the mood for a show. Then streaming made serial style shows more the norm, and now I can't get enough. And my tv is just so much more comfortable to watch on than my laptop, so now I watch on there through my console (because it's much simpler than, like, hooking my laptop up to the tv and having to connect a game controller to it anyway so that I can control it from the couch). 🤷‍♂️ Just seems simpler.

Fun fact that reminds me of: when I bought my current tv I remember my dad asking me why on earth I even needed one since I never watch tv. I had to remind him that I still play video games. 😅

My word. Did we learn anything as a fucking country from Charleston or Buffalo? Just absolutely disgusted. Hopefully there can be some civil suit against governments or leaders at some point over this shit.

We definitely do! I had to create a notepad file on my phone to keep a list of all the games I've seen that I want to try someday. There are so, so many that I don't think I'll realistically ever get to all of them. And the list is just from this generation. It's nuts!!

Yeah, the criticism CAPCOM received over the years was quite unreasonable at times. It is often overlooked that the company went through serious finanicial issues not that long ago. Heh, people ridiculed me when I bought and praised Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for Switch in 2017, saying that CAPCOM is in for a serious resurgence.

Capcom has been killing it. Even their smaller game, Shinsekai, has been a pretty interesting experience. I hope Switch 2 makes it easier for them to port their games. Would definitely buy SF6 on a handheld.

It might be too soon but I'd love to find out at TGS if Persona 3 Reload is planning to launch Verified on Steam Deck. I remember Persona 5 Royal having a decent presence on Deck at last year's TGS I think.

Also the oft-rumored port/remaster/whatever of Shin Megami Tensei V to PlayStation/PC/probably Xbox would be nice too.

Tell me about it. I saw someone on another website suggesting that Nintendo accomplished more with seamless planets with Mario Galaxy on the Wii than what Bethesda has achieved for Starfield.
