The Greavard leak doesn’t exist in a vacuum — the Samba de Amigo leak, the #SonicSuperstars tweet two days before its announcement, a bunch of other specific stuff…

Look, I’m not saying this account is 100% trustworthy, but it’s pretty clear to me they’ve got some kind of knowledge.

While I do think it will be cross gen I don't necessarily think that's the case with this direct, if I had to make a guess the next switch is coming holiday 2024, September would still be within range of switch-only titles. But yes no june/september direct for prime 4 = crossgen for sure

That's not relevant to how Pyoro gets their info though. The youtube back end trick can't be their main source as it wouldn't explain how they got the E1-2S timing right. Eshop access doesn't explain the Civ mobile game or Armored Core reveal. If I had to guess this Pyoro account might be like the old CBOAT account that multiple people have access to and can post info from different sources.

I'd say they can't possibly know about a 2D Mario or SMRPG Remake Direct announcement incoming

Nintendo changed its strategy to prevent that from happening, they don't pre-upload the trailers in the Direct so that YT employees don't get any funny ideas. Or they only start uploading them like an hour before

notice that it takes Nintendo until the next day to upload everything from a Direct

Those two alone alongside the reveal of Metroid Prime 4 would make it the greatest Direct ever. I'd sacrifice TotK DLC for that.

PH Brazil tweet is a guess only too, no one said (at least all the insiders) what Direct will be - if mini or normal one

It still feels sketchy because we all predicted a 2023 mainline Mario game way back when the movie was announced. It's easy to throw it out there during The Time Formerly Known as E3 Season. But maybe we were all right and it's that simple.

I feel it's SMT4 Complete instead of SMT5. What will they complete SMT5 with? It didn't get any substantial DLC. Few Mitama boosts and 2 lame sub quests. SMT4 "Complete" actually make sense, an HD release of both games in one package. Maybe even as a full game, like finish SMT4 and continue SMT4A with all the exp and demons you had in SMT4.

I've lost confidence in seeing Metroid Prime 4 in this Direct even though I've gotten no information to make me believe that.
 
Gaming leaks Reddit mods are now threatening to ban zippo as a source if he’s wrong according to the comments, doesn’t he get most of his publicity from Reddit?

I'll just add that while Samba de Amigo was leaked a few hours prior to the Direct, Pyoro's leak of it happened a full day before.

Also is it a high chance for FE4 to show up at this direct if its a general or is that more suited for the Sept direct

Considering Baten Kaitos is a relatively niche JRPG remaster which was already showcased in a Direct in February, I could see them doing this shortly before the Direct to get ahead of the Direct noise, and only have a brief showing at the Direct in an ending sizzle reel with the release date.

I think one can be this holiday and the other next year.
I was thinking Super Mario RPG Remake being both a miracle for even happening + Square Enix makes sense for it to get a teaser trailer or a short trailer and be a summer 2024 game, while TTYD can be a good August filler or something.

But maybe it's the other way around and we get Super Mario RPG Remake closer to reveal and TTYD ends up being a February Direct reveal for summer 2024.

Super Mario RPG Remake is a big deal and they'll definitely give it a lot of spotlight.

Yeah... I think both can happen. IV/Apocalipse HD look like inevitable. I think they have a shot at this Direct. But SMT V "Royal" kinda sucks. Bought SMT V last year, having a "definitive" version on the same console kinda sucks.
Now... "Shin Megami Tensei V -2/Apocalypse", as in asset reusing direct sequel would be my thing and make my hype go to the roof.

YEAAAASSS. Both that diorama/"chibi"/toy aesthetic of LA remake or maybe clay/stop motion would be absolutely lovely to see. That or a full reimagining. Buy yeah, HD 2D doesn't make sense for a "fake 3D" game.

So, from your part, you know of at least 1 first party game showing up(which would rule out a Partner), right?

Hell yeah. Doesn't make any sense IMO since the DLC is pretty barebones, no new story or anything and apparently only Demifiend has anything substation. Make a "SMT V Royal" instead of a "SMT V Apocalypse" would be a major fuck up by Atlus too.
My guess is either an Apocalypse like sequel(SMT V-2), a Royal version that has a prologue or new story that can be bought as DLC for the vanilla game, coupled with SMT IV/Apocalypse remasters.

There are two, actually. The original rumor was that SMT 3/4/4A/5 would be coming to all consoles. So basically SMT4/4A on everything is brand new, SMT5 no longer Switch exclusive, and all three coming to Xbox for the first time as well. This was a couple months ago and had mixed messages on it being real or fake.

Recently there was another rumor that was a series of hint pictures/gifs that seems to be pointing to SMTV 'complete' specifically, so either a sort of Golden/Royal SMTV or maybe a rather different version of the game kind of like SMT4A was. But unless I'm wrong, this was just hints and nothing concrete was said so it could even be referring to just the collection of everything or anything in between.

Very true and may still take small spot like that in the Direct. Just felt like weird timing if the direct will be announced tomorrow.
