Why are people saying that the Nintendo Direct will happen at 6PM EST?
I have read that the day has been filtered, but I didn't know that the time has also been filtered.
What is the source that leaked the time? Thank you.

Crucially, if I'm not mistaken he's never directly said it wasn't a hint. Just that he's annoyed outlets are reporting on a random percentage quoted in response to something unrelated to Nintendo

I've neither confirmed nor denied it being a hint. Simply my displeasure with outlets reporting it without further investigation as to whether or not it carries meaning.

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda surprised you haven't retired from the leaking game already. You've lasted longer than most do. It seems like it's super stressful.

I read it on a Spanish website that I read dedicated to Nintendo.
I don't usually visit another languages websites dedicated to Nintendo or video games but I saw through Facebook that there were people who commented that the time had been leaked and they put the link to the web.

I leave here the news from that Spanish website, in the news it cites sources but I can't find the moment in which those sources mention the time.

I don’t think Directs have a “usual” time. They air whenever the average person is probably awake in the United States

Not counting E3 shows, times for Directs usually start either 6-7 AM and 2-3 PM US West Coast time. Some people here track these things and probably know exceptions.

Well wound up getting one of the discounted Costco cards. And with my current Eshop balance I could get a pair of vouchers, and I don’t have anything left in the current sale I have to get. So I’ll just wait and see if a Nintendo direct happens next week, and see what gets announced

Not to discount any of the previous fuel that has been added to this fire, but it’s really hard to imagine not having a Direct next week when you hear this.

It’s happening, and there is no way that it’s a Partner. General or Mini for sure.

That's because we like to either let people like Nate discuss things on their own time or we discuss/ask further questions/elaborate on what they've already talked about on here or elsewhere.

We usually don't (I'm most likely guilty of this) ask Nate or anyone else "Hey have you heard about this?"

I appreciate this response but I'm pretty sure they were joking about Kirby
 
If someone were to make up a rumor, why would they make it about Kirby?

There are a few things I can guarantee in life. The sun will rise tomorrow. I have to pay my taxes. There will be a new Kirby game sometime in the future.

I wasn't on NeoGAF at the time (joined in May of 2017), so most of the NX/Switch speculation and discussion I had was on the r/Disneyland Discord server.
