They seemed to have got different information early last week and changed their expectation pretty solidly to June. Happened within a day or two of Nate voting for June on here, which makes me think well-connected people got information last week that confirmed June is the window.

The No Directors have tried everything to will no direct from happening. When a direct is coming it’s like a train with no brakes. It. Can’t. Be. Stopped.

Unless hardware sales are extremely below projections I don’t know why Nintendo would suddenly cut prices after saying they wouldn’t like a month ago. Nintendo Selects would be great though.
 
The way that Star Ocean leaked is the way something prepared to go live after an event gets leaked and Square only possible event this month is a Direct

Remember last year when Emily said that famous Nintendo executives had accounts over at purple forum? And that there were so many instances of era members arguing with Nintendo producers because they didn't know the user worked at Nintendo?

Tbh it’s a little uncouth to ask someone who clearly has inside info for their source. If he said anything about where he got his info he’d be putting people’s jobs in jeopardy.

So let's say that I told you there can be a Nintendo Direct next week that..

  • Announces Switch 2
  • Announces new 3D Mario
  • Announces DLC for TotK alongside Switch 2 version of the game

BUT, at some point there is a clip where they say. "We'd like to share some news about Metroid Prime 4. Unfortunately the game has been cancelled"

Do you take it?
