Grubb is gonna bet that a Nintendo Direct happens next week or else he'll cut off all of his hair to the point where he can no longer be classified as a mammal. That's how confident he is.

yes I just sat through one and a half hours of podcast for you all, and as @Derachi said:
"I'm hearing early rumblings of something happening in July." and he's unsure of the branding.
 
Like Nintendo, I'm also doing "something" in July. You heard it here first.

All jokes aside, it sounds like there's still A LOT of uncertainty.

I have no idea. But it seems like don't expect anything of that sort until next month, if that even happens at all. Do these people have legitimate reason why it's July and not June? Dring also is sure there's nothing in June. I mean, there have to be something before Gamescom, why does the exact week matter?

Gamescom is at the end of August, so it could be early August for all we know

Nintendo caught on to the fact that Lukas wasn’t fooled by their Twitter games, so now they opted to move the June direct to July. I say Lukas should get to stay

Everyone can believe in whatever they can, however doing a July Direct would essentially mean doing it after Pikmin is out, so last week of July. Which would essentially break their pre-TGS Direct (unless that one is Partner, it could be).

That said, I will never leave team June. Team June for life, I am proud of you everyone.
