Yep. Used to drink coffee quite often, like the taste, got diagnosed with mild IBS later in life and it became the Forbidden Drink. I make very weak ones on occasion because I crave it so badI like coffee. Coffee doesn't like me.
Yeah, I feel all of that.Yep. Used to drink coffee quite often, like the taste, got diagnosed with mild IBS later in life and it became the Forbidden Drink. I make very weak ones on occasion because I crave it so bad
Well for me, soda was my gateway into caffeine. I drank a ton of Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, etc. in high school and developed a caffeine dependency that way without even really realizing it, but it was enough to get headaches if I skipped a day or so. I cut all that out years ago though to stop so many empty calories and switched to (mostly) black coffee instead, and now I love it.I've never really tried it and I'm happy to keep it that way. No reason to develop any kind of dependency on caffeine.
The only time I've ever had a little was shortly after a root canal filling replacement where I was still very numb but someone I know saw me whilst they were at a cafe and got me to have a drink with them. I could barely drink it but it tasted weird and I knew I wouldn't like it anyway.
Hate it. I try to drink mostly water, tea and milk. Cheaper and healthier than some of the 'garbage-in-a-can' shit you'll find at grocery stores.Coffee good. Which coffee do you like?
Do you not like coffee? Let me know!
I just realized I didn’t answer this question.Coffee good. Which coffee do you like?
I'm a blando bloke. Any plain 'ol black coffee gets me going and makes me happy, unless it's a watery mess. My mom is in the habit of not using enough grounds, so I like to joke that she doesn't make coffee, she makes coffee inspired water. As we wrap up 2023 on Family Boards, I have a request for everyone:
Post your favorite coffee of the year, why you liked it, and how you like having it.
