Yeah, it might be out soon(-ish), but one shot down Reddit post is no evidence for a release this week.


Also, I’m half convinced Wal-Mart Canada Gaming twitter account lurks here too lol. Whoever runs the account is as deep in the rot as any of us.

Buddy Mission Bond has already been released outside of Japan. It was released in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

There have been rumors that the poor sales of the Famicom Detective club remake in America and Europe so NOA has given up Buddy Mission Bond.

Instead, Famicom Detective club remake didn't localized in Korean.

I managed electronics at a Walmart back in the day, there are several red flags with that rumor for me. In addition to somehow no one at several thousand Walmart stores leaking a picture, the way the 'leaker' described receiving the signage wasn't the process for receiving the signage when I was there- also, store level associates wouldn't have seen or been responsible for marketing collateral before it was put out- when I worked there that was handled by a 3rd party vendor like Andersen or by a Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft rep.

I'm looking forward to the YouTube videos that have titles like "We NEED to talk about that Nintendo Direct" and then the video is just repeating every single announcement in linear order with interjections of "looks cool" and "not really my thing."

It’s happened a few times, someone claims they know even more information, after some legitimate info leaks out for some game, and the “leaker” tries to ride the lowered amount of skepticism generated as a by-product from the hype from the real info, to get a pass on their crap leaks that wouldn’t see the light of day otherwise.

Last year SE released 36 games and 12 were showed in directs( 4 in feb: 3 in July: 5 in sep), the next company was kt with 3 lol.

What company (outside of Nintendo) will have the most representation. Square, KT, Capcom, wild card? Obviously is gonna be SE.

To potentially distract from not meeting earning targets. If they miss expectations, a Direct announcement will overshadow that news. A Direct is seen as Positive news regardless of the Direct contents.

Square Enix has at least a) another SaGa game, b) DQ3HD, c) pixel remasters and d) more leftover from the Nvidia leak left over to announce.

Unless that "leaked" FF event is actually real, they gotta get those announcements out somewhere!

Think I'm going to continue my Rocky binge tonight with Rocky II before Creed 3 comes out, then finish out the night reading some All-Star Superman and playing more Hi-Fi Rush.
 
Imagine if we all still had to hype at the old place before directs? Blegh. The functionality here is sooooo much cleaner, and the yeah system is unmatched lol. Grateful for y'all!

Black ops zombies on a handheld is glorious. I could play this all night if I wanted to if not for my hand limits.

If we get COD something on switch, it better be one with a zombies mode

Very interested to see what the financial report tomorrow will entail for, especially newer games such as Xenoblade 3 and FE. I think Xenoblade 3 will cross 2 million while Pokémon will do records as always. As for the console sales, safe to say it’s passed PS4.

I do hope we get good updates on other previously released games such as Dread, and how much it’s sold now.
