After you turn past 30, anything below 70 degree F becomes unbearable. It's 68 in my apartment right now and I have on a hoody, a flannel shirt, tights under my jeans, and have a desk heater flowing on me. Still cold.
Let me just convert that real quick...

... anything below 20?! Blooming heck mate, we only get a handful of days a year above that here. What temperature are you used to?

Syracuse is getting PELTED today. Snow squalls and -18F wind chill. I drove 10 minutes to Dunkin so I could stock up on stuff to last me the day without having to drive far and endanger myself, and icicles were practically hanging from my ears by the time I was back in my apartment.

Me, in my 40s, in -15F Minnesota weather:

I'm almost exactly the opposite. 70, I'd say into the mid-70s maybe, is about the upper limit of my comfort. Upper 70s I'm sweating, 80s I'm unhappy, and by the 90s I'm miserable. And by the 100s I feel I can barely breathe, like my airways are swelling shut. And we have 5-6 months above 80, 3 months above 100. 😅👍

Oh and I'm deeeefinitely past 30. 🤣

Yay for Minnesota

The key to happiness is a heated blanket. That’s just life advice

I'm getting to a point where I'm considering finding a dilapidated house on a good lot (which is what seems to be in my price range in the PNW) and building a tiny home or something on it. I'm way past the age where I think I need a lot of house, may as well take advantage of that fact. 😅
Seattle does have tiny house communities popping up but I still think they are prohibitively expensive. It’s crazy what some stuff will sell for when it’s basically a condemned building because of the location.

The high temp where I live is in the lower 30s F, but my apartment is so high up that the indoor temp is in the mid 70s. I've got the window open and the fan blowing to keep myself from sweating.
My last apartment was like that. Middle of the building, upper floor. I almost never ran the heat in the winter at all, unless it got down to less than 10-20F out. Free heating!

You lost me at "communities" 🤣
I'd rather not have neighbors to piss off because I'm weirdly good at it somehow

But yeah everything's nuts. It's like with the car market, I'm seeing absolutely trashed stuff, rusted in half stuff, twisted apart from a wreck stuff, still selling for tens of thousands because it used to be a somewhat rare car. No basis in reality, just they've decided it's worth a lot of money. It's like people are just picking hills to die on, but with market values.

I know I shouldn’t, but I’ve really started to hype myself up about the possibility of AW coming soon. It’s more so the pre-orders going live than the rumours that have gotten me excited, but it does feel quite probable.

Ah, the post10 approach. Bought an abandoned house in Maine, fixed it up, installed a wood burning stove, sometimes just camps outside on his property, etc, what a life.

After hearing the M-rated wolverine, I was thinking that I don't think any nintendo console (in the last 4 gens) had more than a handful of nintendo published m-rated games (not counting re-releases or ports).

Switch has Bayo 3 (and SMTV in Europe).
Wii-U had Bayo 2 and Devil's Third.
Gamecube had Eternal Darkness and Geist.
Am I missing some? Did the Wii had some?

My favourite is Thabeast. He's also doing a challenge of beating every single N64 game which has been very fun to watch. I catch Aura occasionally on Twitch though his chat drives me mad with their spam.
Thab is great, I also love Ryu, Poo, Carl, etc. I also enjoy DGR occasionally

Spoilers! Though I think this is established in the beginning. Need to get back to playing but transitioned to the last of us series because of the show.
The Empty Lot is chapter 1 stuff! I would never ever even consider spoiling that game in a meaningful way.

I don't know why I thought MadWorld was Nintendo-published instead of Sega, but yeah Wii went the entire generation without any M-rated published games from Nintendo, only third parties filled that gap.

Rare really was there raunchy powerhouse dev team and the closest now that we can get to that is if Retro pumps out something in the near future that's not Metroid related.

Ayo who's the asshole at Marvelous who authorized this trailer? My eyes are genuinely misting and I'm getting all choked up wtf

I also thought MadWorld was Nintendo-published lol.

Outside of third party exclusives(timed or permanent), the only first party studio that might do a M-rated is probably Retro, I would have said NLG but their last M rated game was The Suffering in 2004 lol.

Dungeon 5 is mostly combat heavy so I actually managed to do most of it in one day. Hopefully I can keep this pace up and have a full game to release in a matter of months.

Dang you're really making progress lately it sounds like! Good stuff.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm really excited about some of the stuff I've done recently, I've managed to add a lot more variety and choice than what I had previously.

Might have to take Miyamoto's advice and redo my first level after all the others are done, so I can use all the lessons I've learned and teach the player all they need to know in that first level.

Hm, I wonder with Goldeneye delayed in Japan if this month’s NSO N64 game will come on the earlier side

Whaa nah that’s warm

This. 70’s is comfy but warm with wind

Sorry. I meant or original 3DS versus the upgraded one. The “new” lines are the same in terms of super stable 3D. If you prioritize the resolution, then definitely get the normal new 3DS. I think that screen is still bigger than the launch 3DS, so you do get some more real estate anyway
oh yeah good catch! i had no idea the new 3ds screen was slightly bigger than the original, should help a tad :)

I feel the same. I have the Sony ubp x800m2 and I love it. The quality you van get from a good 4k disc blows streaming video and udio quality out of the water. I've got a few 4k movies coming in the mail soon (Scream 2, Halloween Ends, and Dragons Forever).

Wound up clearing the Theatrhythm final barline demo on basic instead of working on Nier Automa. I’ll get back to that tomorrow. Tonight I shall do some sd Gundam BA and TGAA I think

My 65" LG CX is probably the best tech purchase I've ever made. Thinnest TV I've ever seen, and the quality and pixel dot tech that makes the colors pop so vibrantly feels futuristic, honestly. Excellent gaming TV, too.
