Started yet another new file on Dark Souls Remastered, when I could be playing any other game
It's a game I have gone back to several times, getting farther every time, but I still haven't completely finished it. Always rewarding, though. That game has thoroughly melted my mind even as far in as I am. I should really pick it up again
Why are you still playing it then?I just managed to somehow select "save and quit" before 1am on Spiritfarer for the first time in dayyysss
I'm not..Why are you still playing it then?
breathing the airIs there any better feeling than turning on your out-of-office automatic email response before a vacation?
I have done all three of these in a single day before and can confirm it is a goood feelingbreathing the air
eating a slice of pizza
being covered in grease
Very slowly, because I don't find nearly as much time to play as I would like. Gonna wrap up Chapter 1 today, hopefully. How's this been going? I'm still playing myself. Not very far though
It is great. Finished it the other day and had a blast. As I said when it relesed, anyone who likes Toree should give it a try.Lunistice looks like it
- is great
- is a 3d platformer
- is crunchy
- has a demo
- is only $5
- deserves more hype here
It’s short! Took me 2 hours to 100% do everything! Fun throughout!Gosh, you guys are really selling me on Lunistice...but now I gotta find the time to play it. After the Odyssey playthrough (at around 800 moons now!) I'll get to it.
Only two hours, you say? you tempt me further...It’s short! Took me 2 hours to 100% do everything! Fun throughout!
You sure Famiboards.com isn't part of the game?I'm not..
I'm in bed scrolling Famiboards
Actual photo of my grumpy ass with my backlog
Here I am a peasant thinking of his backlog like a nice wine cellar. Totally feeling these vibes right now. Been thinking a lot lately about my backlog that goes back to the PS1 era if not olderPlease, sweet and noble friends, desist with the recommending of videogames. I am already sprawled, unmoving, over the golden hoard of many videogames, in my dank cave deep beneath a mountain that once housed a dwarven kingdom of old; instead of using my hoard I simply eat salmon.
Oh gods yes. Usually not specific titles, but genres or series. Like Point & Click adventures, Maxis games, Heroes of Might & Magic series, Picross series, beat-em-ups... I could go on. It's the worst.Do you guys have a game you love on paper, but in reality you keep ignoring it in favor of other titles? Because it's currently happening to me with Mario+Rabbids (the first one), and it is kinda blowing my mind because nothing similar had happened to me before.
ironically this is the fastest a puzzle game has ever become "stare at a screen until I figure out what I can even try to do"@Raccoon it sounds like you still have a fair way to go, to be honest. It gets even better. You're in for a treat
Nintendo usually has the big sale start on Wednesday if I remember correctly. I would imagine all of the publisher sales will start rolling out at 9 Thursday like usual. Unless you’re in a different region then I am not sure the usual sale update times.Umm, I checked the Black Friday tab on the eshop and there’s not many games in there, that can’t be the whole sale right?
Before you do, might I suggest thisironically this is the fastest a puzzle game has ever become "stare at a screen until I figure out what I can even try to do"
I might drop it honestly, I'm getting nowhere
This is the first year I've paid any attention to Black Friday sales, are we expecting anymore deals on the Switch OLED? Dell has it at MSRP with a $75 gift card, do you think I should pull the trigger now or wait and see if anyone beats that? Advice appreciated.
We know Nintendo is doing the OG switch MK8 bundle again. I assume retailers will stick to that. Will have to wait until they release their ads in full to know. I am doubting SwOLED is going to be on any deals this yearThis is the first year I've paid any attention to Black Friday sales, are we expecting anymore deals on the Switch OLED? But... but... you'd be missing out on so muchnah, I don't do hints
I'll spend a few more hours staring and then admit defeat
Thanks, I just needed to hear that from someone who's been through this rodeo before. I'm taking the dive!We know Nintendo is doing the OG switch MK8 bundle again. My plan used to be waiting until my birthday in February to see if ""Drake"" was announced in that time frame, but, well.... Despite how many awesome games I still have in my 3DS backlog, after five and a half years the Switch hype has bioaccumulated in my body, like microplastic.Depends, do you need a new Switch? Or do you absolutely want it?
If not, i'd say you wait a bit longer, as there's a (imo) good chance Nintendo announces the Drake (Pro) model early 2023.

The town they stopped at was so cozy. The villagers were a bit weird but they were very friendly. And the local cuisine is to die for. Finally finished Made in Abyss Season 2. What a wholesome, fun adventure.

I don't think using help to get through part of it would prepare me for what's to come. If I can't do it I can't do it and would much rather come back to it later and see if my thinking has improved. Now this is a true Famiboards member. We always find a reason to stop playing a game.
The Black Friday sale slowly, but surely, looms upon us and our tiny stashes of moneyLike, buying a new game!
No worries, I was being cheeky. There was a puzzle that I worked on for a month haha.I don't think using help to get through part of it would prepare me for what's to come. If I can't do it I can't do it and would much rather come back to it later and see if my thinking has improved.

Do I like how it looks? Yes. Do I like the gameplay? Yes. Do I like the humor? (mostly) Yes.
Do I forget about it at the drop of a hat and focus instead on whatever else is on my Switch's home menu at the time? Yes.
You sure Famiboards.com isn't part of the game?

I'm not saying look at the hints for every puzzle. Just ones which are stopping you from making progress. There's some really cool shit later that you want to at least see
This is how I feel when people give up in Dark Souls
I stopped early on both Dark Souls and Bloodborne AMAThis is how I feel when people give up in Dark Souls
