I was doing dishes and it was quiet in the house and that sound was giving me the creeps so I downloaded a recording app on my phone and just captured it for 5 seconds.

Probably not the best quality but if it can give me the creeps it's good enough for y'all

I mean, he's not entirely wrong. Time is finite (oof do I ever feel that. Go take the time to tell your friends, family and pets you love them), and everyone only has so much time to play every game out there even if they do focus in on a specific genre. I do think it's a little unfair though that influencers may have an individual ballot to fill out where aggregate news companies also only get one; if every employee at say IGN or GameSpot got to vote themselves, let the results get tabulated among the influencers to give a proper well rounded result, maybe it would be a little more fair and offer honourable mentions to indie titles that might not otherwise get enough eyes on them.

Also fuck the Grammys; they snubbed my man The Weeknd so they can get fucked.

I disagree, i think we will get something before or around the time Zelda comes out. With an announcement in January

Yeah, agreed.

I just don't see a "Switch 2" being revealed any time soon, be it this year or the next.

But that's just me. I like to err on the side of caution.

I wonder if they're mimicking the Japanese tendency to call everything "________ Monogatari," (which means essentially "________ Story") more so than Golf Story in particular. Like, we had Cave Story years ago and I dunno how many anime follow that naming convention (but it's a lot). I just mean maybe it's not too icky?

Eh, I feel like a comedic sports RPG with 2D pixel-graphics named ___ Story is one parallel too much for me.

Instead of Nintendo showing up to The Keighly's with another Tears of the Kingdom teaser I'd love something unexpected, like Astral Chain 2 or Metroid Prime.

I had a dream there was a Twin Peaks video game with a brand new original story, along with a Deadly Premonition crossover chapter. The DP crossover chapter was easily the trippiest part with the walls turning more and more red the more you played, and York’s face disfiguring and turning blue.

Xenoblade DE is absolutely a comfy game, same as XC2. Wandering around areas like Makna Forest with the chill music, gorgeous comfy towns like Frontier Village, etc. It's definitely a warm, fuzzy game.

I'm not expecting anything from Nintendo on TGAs ever again.

BUT there's that rating of the Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer 2. After last year ended on Matrix and the year before on Fast and Furious, I think this year is gonna have a Mario movie trailer.

The likeliest games to me are Fire Emblem Engage (coming literally the month after and still only had its reveal trailer) and Tears of the Kingdom (May, and the most anticipated game, and a nominee).

I would love if we got a Metroid Prime 4 reveal trailer alongside Prime Remake coming in March more than literally anything tho.

My boss and I have to do this every year since we have weekly meetings and such that requires one of us to be around (mainly because upper management won’t know what to do). It is irritating having to negotiate your leave months in advance to make sure there is minimal overlap.

Edit: we don’t Pokémon battle, but maybe that’s a good idea.
