I think I had a cramp, and considering the issues my hand has going on right now, just had a bad reaction to it. I can move it like normal now but I’m taking it easy for now

I think the early release of the next N64 NSO update is a good sign; maybe we'll even see a rare NES/SNES update.

Nintendo composer trivia is always fun. Asuka Ito did Pilotwings Resort and worked with Matsuoka on Tomodachi Life, then left Nintendo to go to LA and worked on stuff like Queen's Gambit.
 
Made out like bandits in the candy racket tonight. Got probably about 3x as much candy as we gave out.

Profits are sky high
 
Going back and forth between handing out candy to kids and playing Trails from Zero, while now and then grabbing some candy myself. Not a bad Halloween night!

Christopher Lee is one of my favorite actors. The dude had such a presence and charisma many actors lack. Even in Dracula Prince of Darkness when he was mute he came off super menacing and threatening.
 
Here’s my fun but small Toku collection. Just got in Gavan and Kuuga today. Now as for when I’ll get around to watching them? That’s a mystery

Also as far as horror actors who could elevate most any film they were in just look at any film that started Peter Cushing or Vincent Price. Those dudes were incapable of phoning in a performance. Even if yhe movie itself was weak they always gave it their all.

Since we were talking about Christopher Lee before, I just remembered a quote of his that's very appropriate; it was something along the lines of "Every actor makes terrible films from time to time. The trick is never to be terrible in them". And seeing how often actors sleepwalk through movies just makes me appreciate even more the ones who bring their A-game to everything they do.

Fix that. I hear Orb’s a good modern entry point(it’s why I grabbed it). The whole series(and Toku genre) started when the co creator of Godzilla wanted to bring that level of special effects and started with the episodic mystery show Ultra Q, a Twilight Zone like but with more episodes with giant monsters

Had a mighty urge to listen to the Live A Live remake OST.

So I had to pop the game in and open the jukebox, because it's not on YouTube or any streaming service (that I have) 😭
 
I’m currently playing through Xenoblade 2 for the first time and also studying for the CPA exam, and I got to say the mental expense required to fully understand XB2’s battle system is about the fucking same as that for the exam.
