I am going to have about three slots opening up soon. Will update if anyone wants to join in on my plan.

I have three slots open right now (only one other member is actually "family"). I have the base NSO until Sept 2023, so I guess I'll find out how much is pro-rated shortly.

Yep, you can join a family plan and it'll override your individual plan. You dont get refunded or anything, so if you just renewed you're kinda out that money (still cheaper than upgrading). But make sure you turn off autorenew as well...unsure if that happens automatically. I assume if you leave the family plan for whatever reason your individual would kick back in (unsure on that) as long as it has time left. Other than the billing page, nothing else changes.

I've got my family plan about ready to go, but some of my people are very slow to get me the emails attached to their Nintendo IDs. If I subscribe to the family plan later today and then add them, say, tomorrow, then will they be added to my plan automatically? Or does everyone need to be in when I make the transaction?

You can add/remove people from the plan whenever you want, you pay full price whether you have 2 people or 8 people...doesnt matter to nintendo.

No you can add or remove anyone after the fact.

I renewed recently here so am out of that money due to joining a family plan. I do suggest turning off auto renewal though. I think if you do leave the family plan, you do get back onto your own single plan.

Enrollment will start tonight, likely 6:30pm pacific. There's a scheduled NSO outage from 5-6:30pm pacific today (link..gotta scroll down)...so everyone is expecting it to be available post maintenance. There will also likely be a system update tonight (the current firmware doesnt support the new controllers fully).

I still have three spots available in the US. I was pro-rated for most of the year, so the total is $18.08. That would be $2.26 if I could fill all three spots.
