I still wholeheartedly endorse P&C developers pushing their games onto Switch and mobile though! It's just not my preferred manner of consuming them.

Fair enough, but still, by not buying it on Switch, not only are you hurting the finances of the little craftsman from Kyoto, but you'll also be actually playing a video game, which (I believe) is against the forum rules

It's quite good actually. Animation looks kinda cheap, but the plot is fine (it's basically a Romeo and Juliette adaptation) and the songs slap. One of them was actually so good that they used it in the Broadway adaptation of the first movie

I remember being very confused as a kid at how the third Aladdin, King of Thieves, was hyping up Robin Williams, because I had no idea he wasn't in Return of Jafar.
 
I watched Aladdin 1 and 2 religiously as a kid. Return of Jafar is probably the only real direct to video Disney movie that I seriously watched. I don't think I watched more than a few minutes of any others. I didn't even watch King of Thieves. I did see a few episodes of the TV series though.

Diddy Kong Racing was one of many console games during the N64/PS1 era that I missed out on so I'll be up to playing it with added online multiplayer.
 
So Rage Against the Machine just announced the cancellation of the European leg of their tour due to health issues of Zach.

3 days after I secured vacation, booked flights and hotel and made arrangements for my family.

This sucks.

My family skipped Return of Jafar so we had Aladdin 1 and 3.
 
Ugh I have bookshelf puzzles so now of COURSE I need to make a flying book enemy because those are the rules.

One of the autograph places I go to online is now trying to charge for a VIP membership for exclusive signings and it’s one for Star Wars and marvel ones. They have gotten some big names lately but I am not sure how I feel about it. I have to see who they get before I even think about signing up first

I've only gotten two autographs, well three technically but only two chances, in my life. One was after a WCW Nitro show, Disco Inferno and Tajiri were in Applebees as my friend I were waiting for our ride to pick us up. In hindsight that's a really dissapointing autograph. The other time was when I was 14 and we had a baseball tournement in Oklahoma. We stopped at Hooters and all the ladies that were working there signed my shirt. As a 14 year old, that was awesome! As a whatever I am now, it was eh. The ladies had a lot of fun laughing at us and they were really nice, so it was pretty fun at the time at least. The food was awful though.

I uh, don't know what that story has to do with anything, but I just thought I'd tell you. I have a man crush on Michael Fassbender though, and I would love to get his autograph. Maybe Guillermo Del Toro too, just because he made Pacific Rim especially for me.

It was quite big deal back in the day. I couldn't find the VHS anywhere in its release week and it ended up being one of the best selling VHS release.
 
Damn, there's nothing quite like sidequesting in a Xeno game. Seeing all these massive, enticing landscapes as you run around, stumble upon caves containing monsters that are 20 levels above you.. getting EXP as you find hidden areas, hunt down question marks, gathering loot along the way.. just magical.

To me, this is even more fuel for a September direct. Even if it doesn't drop that day, that's a perfect time for an October or November release date trailer. This, along with the Splatoon 3 amiibo not having a date other then holidays, and it being a perfect time to show some stuff for Splatoon that would come in an update, I'm starting to look at ticket prices for the September direct hype train. Hopefully it's not too expensive. I need snacks while I'm on it.

As a fellow RATM fan I feel for you, that is a huge bummer. I wanted to go see them in Tacoma for 2023 but the tickets are already $200+ for crap seats and I just can't do that right now, lol

I was supposed to go see Northlane and Silent Planet recently too but that also got canned, apparently getting to the US from Australia is hell right now.

Yeah I am genuinely dissapointed and sad about this. Having alot of struggles right now and this was kind of the thing keeping my spirit somewhat good.. and it's cancelled.

Ouff yeah, 200$ is a lot of dough. I had floor tickets so I was super stoked about that.

Tours getting cancelled sucks, hopefully you'll get another chance.

Toy Story 2 was originally going to be a direct to video sequel, but Pixar was able to convince Disney to give it a theatrical run.

IIRC it went something like "Hey look, we have something special here. Let's not just dump it on a VHS."

I haven't been able to play much and because of that my logic has been just to explore since I want to do the story parts while it has my full attention.

Now I'm nearly 30 levels over the recommended level by explore and doing side quests. lmao Time really does fly by and it does not feel like it while playing this game.

I had this happen recently with an Amazon delivery. No picture, just a note about "left in a secure location". Was not in either of the usual drop off spots. Showed up the next day. My assumption is the driver was running late and chose to not get dinged for missing the expected delivery window so marked it as delivered and then delivered it much later.

Maybe rather than investing in racing to the bottom Bezos should invest in actual customer and employee delight
