Yup, same height, blonde, badass and rocks the hell out of armour. Also just a fantastic actorChristie?
Don't have the game, but the fact that they waited until the release date to send review codes (and reluctantly so) for the Switch version is usually not a great sign.Someone here has Cult of the Lamb on Switch? I'm interested in it, but i've read confusing impressions about performance, some say it's good, some it's good after a patch, some say it's very bad.
Would love some first hand impressions.
And while i have a PS5, this is not a game i get on this console, nor do i have the motivation to power on this electric heater during the current temperatures.
Cue Game Freak designers furiously taking notesI decided to name my flying book thing a "Phantome" and I made a walking book creature wielding a scythe called a "Grimwar".
Oooooh boy do they exist. I grew up surrounded by them. "Trump 2024" stickers are slapped all over stop signs and fast food speakers and anything someone can reach from a car. I see "Let's Go Brandon" decals multiple times a day.
Sometimes it's hard for me to fathom that the other side exists, because I've spent so many years ducking and weaving around the attempts to get me to join the cult that I genuinely started thinking I was the nutty one and maybe they were right. Like, if everyone tells you you're wrong, it'd be narcissistic to think you're the only one who sees the truth, right?
Well January 6th was the switch-flip for me, because after decades of people telling me how wrong I was about everything, how I'm being brainwashed by the liberal media and liberal teachers, I finally got to watch live the very shit I've been saying for a decade that I was scared of happening. Like there it was, in plain sight. Confirming everything for me. And then when everyone around me started up with the false flag conspiracy theories, I was able to confidently know that they're the ones out of their fucking minds, not me.
So that was kinda nice.
Okay, for those who care I decided to name my flying book thing a "Phantome" and I made a walking book creature wielding a scythe called a "Grimwar".
And he looks incredible.
I'm going down a very interesting rabbit hole of making a bunch of stereotypical witch related enemies. Next up is a sucker punch, a candy creature who punches with lollipop fists.oh hell yeah that’s so good

Fam I have a SERIOUS PROBLEM
I have discovered that, man: assembling plastic model kits is an EXTREMELY chill activity that I actively love to do.
But also
Damn I REALLY Do not like Gundams
I just don’t really like how they look. I couldn’t tell you exactly what it is. But here I am looking for plastic model kits (PlaMo) to assemble and it’s all just Gundam this and Gundam that.
Anyone have any PlaMo recommendations that aren’t Gundam?
You’re dead to meDamn I REALLY Do not like Gundams
Assuming you don’t want more humanoid mecha, I’m pretty sure there’s model kits for Pokemon, Zoids and tokusatsu. And anime girls I guessAnyone have any PlaMo recommendations that aren’t Gundam?
Tallgeese is an EXCELLENT recSince you don't like Gundams, have you tried building a Zaku or maybe Tallgeese?

Bandai has some non Gundam stuff, tho availability can vary(they tend to have the highest ease and quality). They have a one piece grand ship line that’s 5” scale ships from the show(they are sticker heavy). (I damaged my merry’s sail in a move)Fam I have a SERIOUS PROBLEM

Gonna shove you into a locker and steal your lunch moneySince you don't like Gundams, have you tried building a Zaku or maybe Tallgeese?
I think I’m going to get into (and very quickly exhaust) the Sentai Mini-Pla stuff. It’s not that I don’t want humanoid mecha, I just don’t like Gundam as a media property (just not for me!) and I find the robots overly angular and… I dunno, weird. Not for me!Assuming you don’t want more humanoid mecha, I’m pretty sure there’s model kits for Pokemon, Zoids and tokusatsu. And anime girls I guess
NGL a lot of these robots just look like Gundams to me lolBandai has some non Gundam stuff, tho availability can vary(they tend to have the highest ease and quality). For Non-Gundam mecha, the Infinity/Infinitism High Grade line is current and excellent, with Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger being in the style of the infinity movie designs while the others are based off that style(Mazinkaizer, Steel Jeeg, Grendizer, Getter Dragon)
There’s also some older lines like HG L-Gaim, Dunbine, and MG Patlabor(all are still in print but way lower separation and more stickers, outside of a couple L-Gaim kits getting retooled upgrades last year). Oh the RG Eva line is excellent, as is the HG SRW OG line but the former has similar designs and the latter is still new with only 3 releases like Cybuster here
There’s also the figurise Bandai kit line which is all character figures from Naruto and Goku to Buzz lightyear and woody. Also their Star Wars line but no connection there personally. They also have a bunch of other random stuff like ultraman and Kamen rider tho those go from simple to complex
If you’re up for more of a challenge, Kotobuya does a mix of stuff like Muv luv, frame girls and Hexa gear. There’s also Moderoid which has an insane number of licensed suits(but the lowest color separation/slightly tougher kits) and availability can be tighter, they recently did 2 forms of Bloodia from Cyberbots, have Rayearth kits coming up and a crazy number of other stuff.
I mean those first 3 predate Gundam by over 5 years. They’re supers. Also all one piece ships are loosely based off of real world ships too. But yeah I was going to mention super mini pla but outside of browsing that moderoid there’s not a ton of high quality kit recommendations I can make other than say Bandai puts out random one offs all the time. Like the millennium puzzle from yugioh.NGL a lot of these robots just look like Gundams to me lol
As I said above I do think I’m gonna go hard into Sentai Mini-Pla (who do NOT look like gundams they are very different! No I will not explain my stance) but that’s a very quick-to-exhaust list. I’ve done a Figure Rise Standard before of Kamen Rider Build, but TBH I already own the Figuarts of basically every Rider so to me, I’m not really keen on building kits of them because there’s zero way the kits are going to come out looking better than the (oftentimes very expensive) pre-made figures.
I do appreciate the recommendations, though! I wish I was into One Piece because those ships look REAL neat

Just know, these are normally in the 20-30 range but will jump up to 40 if between print refreshes(or higher if really long). Red force is getting a reprint this month and baratie got one recently. Sunny and Merry are always in stock of course. The big shops are getting a restock this or next month, here’s the BBTS listings https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Search?SearchText=Grand+ship+collection+Dayum the level of culture in these posts bring a tear to my eye.
I think I have to order the Thousand Sunny.

News crew in Japan did a flyover of USJ, and in the video (jump to halfway mark) you can see how construction on DK is progressing.
I don't find the gundam designs all that interesting either, but if anyone wants to talk Patlabor or Transformers I'm all earsgoes to show that just because someone is really into anime doesn't mean they will automatically like gundam
Is there actual Wonderswan nostalgia outside of Japan? I thought it never made it Westward?Seeing an actual Wonderswan or Neo Geo Pocket would make my day.

Mostly the music being disappointing and the design feeling very derivative of SotN. But I haven’t played it in a while so I couldn’t really tell you if I share those opinions, I just know that I enjoyed Aria much more. What is it that people so strongly dislike about Harmony of Dissonance? Is it just the overly saturated visuals? The convoluted map with it’s annoying barriers?
Because those issues aside I’m loving it. Aria must be really damn good for people to consider it such a drastic improvement.

To give you all an update from my doctor appointment. I have inflammation on parts of my wrist, probably from playing too much games or repetitive movement in general a small case of carpal tunnel. They want me to take steroids for a while to heal it and to wear a brace on it as well.
