Or lowerWe're still only at 52 scores on MC and 35 on OC so it might go higer as more reviews come in.
Now it's at 55 reviews and 88 metascore

But they affect the game. Officially, the game is played only on this hardware, so of course how it runs is part of the reviews. Not sure what you're getting at reallyI wish the Switch being so outdated and struggling tech-wise didn't have any impact at all in the reviews. I know some of them ignore it (or, rather, take it into account), but it still seems to be affecting some of them and it's annoying imo. Like could even Monolith Soft do much better on this hardware? Really?
The technical issues on resolution and such are only the Switch's fault, nothing else
Arise is somehow one of the most beginner friendly JRPG this generation. A lot of none/ new JRPG player somehow connect to Arise and FF7 Remake. The entire GI review is weird. The comparision to tales of Arise in particular as tome of the praise for that, like character and story, we're mostly complaints in other reviews.
Even then, nothing in the review seems to indicate a 7.25.

That makes sense considering FF7R is barely a JRPG and Arise is a brain dead JRPG.Arise is somehow one of the most beginner friendly JRPG this generation. A lot of none/ new JRPG player somehow connect to Arise and FF7 Remake.
After going through the review, that was the conclusion I came down to unless he played a different game...When someone puts such a different score towards a game without really showing why they do so. I wonder if they do it to just be controversial and get people to talk about that website.
Impossiblemetacritic stop aggressive caching challenge
Sorry. I don’t play games under 90 metacritic. It matters to me.It still is one of the best reviewed JRPGs of the generation, 88 or 90 doesnt matter
Auto-battle is just cruise control for the cool in postgame
11/10
Another game for the "came out and was just forgotten" club
The three games above Xenoblade 3, I have never heard about lol.
Quite interesting for someone to throw out the word 'dumb', in a Metacritic thread, in defence of a series where the first entry scored 92 and the second scored 83 — a 9 point drop.
Not as good as Bustafellows but still pretty decent
goty 2021 tbqhNot as good as Bustafellows but still pretty decent
The niche barrier strikes again89 curse
Metascore webpage is awful it probably largged and didnt update properly when it had 55 scores at firstOk why now it has 89 metascore with the same numbers of reviews it had when it was at 88?
Shroedinger xenoblade: the game with 55 reviews has both an 88 and 89 as a metascore
metacritic is just terrible about this when reviews first come out. right now it's showing 89 with 64 reviews for me.Ok why now it has 89 metascore with the same numbers of reviews it had when it was at 88?

Hey guys quick question: I‘ve played trough the first game on Wii (and X to some degree) and like them a lot. 3 looks super interesting, but I tried to play the second one and it was impossible for me to get trough that game because of the cast. Do you saw somewhere in reviews where it says it is no problem to skip the second game? I don‘t really care if I get spoilered of previous story arcs as long as it gets explained well enough and you can play 3 without any previous knowledge.
only natural for a low budget iterative sequelBreath of the Wild 2 will also get a 89.
But that score will cause the world to burn on fami. And all other forums too
This game really has nothing in common with Arise other than also being a JRPG with anime character designs. This is like calling Zelda “Disney’s Robin Hood but good” because the main characters both wear green tunics.I have heard a lot of people who've played both describe xb3 as "Arise but good" so this isn't too surprising
Of all the games, it was Animal Crossing that wasn't affected by it.89 curse

Did they even play it. Damn. After going through the review, that was the conclusion I came down to unless he played a different game...
Also they mentioned "predictable plot twists" or something along those lines.
This and Bayo 3 maybe (first two games were both massively acclaimed, 90+)So I guess this is the nintendo game of the year candidate in the kheigley show. From not even being seen with xeno2 this would be a huge jump
It reads to me like someone who simply doesn't gel with Xenoblade; their main criticisms are the environments and the main gameplay loop.I think fans tend to go way too hard on review publications for "low" scores, but that GI review is just...off. Only 8 paragraphs, most of which flies against what seems to be the general consensus.
Different strokes for different folks on the latter point I guess.
It could easily be either Bayonetta 3 or Splatoon 3. Bayonetta 2 was a GOTY nominee in 2014 despite Mario Kart 8 launching that year.So I guess this is the nintendo game of the year candidate in the kheigley show. From not even being seen with xeno2 this would be a huge jump
