It's supposedly so bad that it got the spoiler thread (temp?) Locked. So I guess people are spilling into other threads and not thinking. I agree that it should be awhile before talk about it so openly even if it's vague or jokingly.

I was pretty ambivalent on Rings of Power until the latest trailer, and then rewatching that a few times and connecting it back to my Tolkien knowledge has made me pretty excited. I have theories as to how they're adapting material, and I'm feeling much more positive about the show. I'll definitely be checking out Andor and House of the Dragon, too.
 
So instead of figuring out how to use python (or getting someone else to do it) to generate thousands of csv rows I figured it would be easier to just generate the item I want in-game by supplying a much smaller list of base items and a list of item enchantments and merging them.

So much easier.

I'm almost done with Wolfenstein The New Colossus (last level/chapter if I'm not mistaken) but had to stop for the evening. It's been a pretty cathartic and mostly enjoyable experience but not without its flaws. I'm glad that I played it but I'm also glad that I lowered the difficulty and almost rushed through it.
 
Fall guys battle pass done. Now that’s video gaming, just in time for Xenoblade. Though I did buy some show bucks to skip a few tiers but a large chunk of it was done by me. Still, game is fun as hell and I can’t wait for the sonic event when that drops

Fall guys>fortnite and I hope they go all in on crazy collabs like they did with halo not too long ago that I bought the skins for

Yall it has come to my attention that John Wick 4 has added

to the cast. Therefore, most of my statements for the rest of the day, possibly the week, will likely lose much coherence as my brain reroutes the energy necessary to process this.

My biggest issue with it is that for some reason, it just didn't carry the same responsiveness as New Order did. I don't ever remember dropping dead near instantly with no feedback in TNO but in TNC it would happen constantly. Something about that sequel is just... Really floaty and off-putting. Things almost felt out of sync a lot of the time. And I never found any of the playstyle choice upgrades like the stilts or anything very rewarding. Just tacked on. That and the idea of pushing stealth in a Wolfenstein game just never sat right with me. Could just be PTSD from the Snooper level in Return to Castle Wolfenstein always being such a finicky pain in the ass.
 
I think I forgot to mention that I beat Octo Expansion before starting Live A Live! Probably the best Nintendo DLC I've ever played. I beat the main expansion and all 80 levels. The last thing I'll do (probably between Live A Live and Xenoblade 3) is beat the godforsaken final final boss lmao

Oh yeah, it's definitely less polished than TNO in many ways.

It’ll probably come down to who’s developing it tbh. But then again I have no idea what the Wolverine game is going to look like.

Black Panther game set in Wakanda would be aces

The only fun Wolverine game is the one thing Origins did right; the Raven software title with the amazing lunge attack.
 
Mondays have suddenly become good now that Better Call Saul is airing again. 4 more episodes to go, I'm unreasonably excited

My brother has a habit of not being around or able to watch it when I want to so I’m still a few episodes behind. Hoping to at least knock out the mid season finale tonight.
 
I finished all 3 seasons of "The Boys".... entertaining for sure. Can't wait for Season 4!

I mean, besides both having mammal-based naming conventions and claws as their primary weapon, they're not too similar?

One's a king of a futuristic African nation, a renowned strategic genius with a dozen high tech tools up his belt, who's basically the Marvel equivalent of Batman if he was even more stupid rich and also had super powers based on a large cat

The other's just an angry Canadian who refuses to die
