Assuming the leak is real (courses are still on the table), it'll be coming next, but even if they are fake, I'd be super surprised if it didn't come. It's a popular course and the MKTour version is right there to use.Hopefully Mushroom Gorge comes in one of these waves. I feel like it will tbh.
I think that's fake. Unless Nintendo changed their minds, the courses listed don't match the datamined information. Turnip Cup is supposedly getting courses from Tour, SNES, N64, and DS while Propeller Cup is supposedly getting courses from Tour, GBA, Wii, and an unknown source similar to Ninja Hideaway. Meanwhile here Propeller gets a DS track while Turnip has a GCN and a Wii track. It doesn't add up.apparently Nintendo Netherlands posted Wave 2 material then took it down immediately? this could be totally fake & shopped anyone know anymore about this?
yeah i'm inclined to agree, looks like someone has too much time on their hands. still i wish it does drop tomorrow! otherwise it has to be next week, surely...I think that's fake. Also the wording is off too, Nintendo usually doesn't say "is available now on Nintendo Switch!" for download only content, and the "Start uw motoren" bit is way too formal for a tweet.I think that's fake. Fake, Nintendo Netherlands does not call waves 'waves' but rather 'sets'apparently Nintendo Netherlands posted Wave 2 material then took it down immediately? this could be totally fake & shopped anyone know anymore about this?
I...have come to this conclusion sadly lolThe moment the Mario Strikers DLC was announced, the chances of Wave 2 happening this week disappeared.
Smash community:Who goes to that much effort for a fake tweet rofl.
Will most likely be a part of the BCP, but there's really no way to know exactly when. Could be Wave 3, could be Wave 6.So Daisy Cruiser is coming to Tour soon, chances of it being a Wave 3 track?
We don't have much that is actually confirmed on the side of the booster course pass itself. No release date, no confirmed courses (that aren't just rumors right now), nothing. I'll update the OP graphics once we have official word.I probably already asked for this but do we perhaps have an updated graphic of all the latest info?
Datamining was much more fruitful than I thought yesterday. There's a thread about the PC references already, but there's a few more things worth talking about. First; even more references to Battle Mode than before. Sounds like balloons are customisable in some way, potentially tied to the gacha. Then, despite being patched out before, a new string related to 8DX has been readded in this update: 'Mk8dx_FetchPlayReport_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND'.
Finally, a few more datamined courses. Check out the bottom of the list:
First, we have DS Tick-Tock Clock joining DS Mario Circuit. There's a new pendulum object that only realistically fits this course. Then the big stuff; two new nitro courses. One has the initials 'dk', with the only object referring to it being two variants of 'HPBoardMobdk' (one for reverse courses and one for trick courses). Likely a DK track of somekind though, i'd have to guess. The bigger one is 'br', which has a ton of objects referencing it. Alongside 'JumpMobbr' joins objects like 'BathBomb', 'DuckToy', 'KuriboFloatToy' and 'RoadSponge' which, combined with the initials, give away the theme of the course if you ask me. Last update an object called 'SoapBubbleTest' was found, but it wasn't conclusive enough to determine what the course actually was. Now combined with the newly found initials I think it is fairly obvious.
Keep in mind that not every original Tour course will end up being a race course though. With battle mode imminent it is likely that some of those tracks are actually battle tracks. There's no way for us to know the distinction right now however.
That's true. I just think it sucks for us not knowing what's coming and when it's coming. But as you said, it works in Nintendo's favour this way because they can adjust the gaps bewteen waves as they please. There are 653 days between the release of wave 1 and the end of 2023. That means an average of 131 days between releases. We are currently at 125 days since the previous release, so we're not even over the average yet! Besides which, some releases being a couple weeks later and some being a couple earlier should be expected. I really don't get th
I doubt there will be new karts or parts at all. They would have mentioned that already. Stuff like that is going to be used for MK9 I suppose.Maybe they'll give us 16 courses at once with some new racers and kart parts this fall.
I honestly found it a little annoying to drip feed 8 courses at a time. Sometimes I'd rather wait for a bigger meal, but that's just me.
I'm probably wrong.
It’s a little outdated already with Piranha Plant Pipeway released and Daisy Cruiser announced, but otherwise pretty much where we’re at now. Not many courses left to pull from 7 for Tour at this rate; only DK Jungle, Music Park, both Wuhu Island tracks and N64 Luigi Raceway, and all of them have been datamined in some form.If you want to see which courses are in Mario Kart Tour, and by proxy what may be coming to the Booster Course Pass, we got that right here:
We won't be waiting too much longer I think..Assuming the list we've seen is accurate and the last track is something we haven't seen before, I wonder if they're holding off on wave 2 until that track is at least revealed for Tour. Don't know how long they can hold off on that without disrupting the rest of the schedule too much, though.
I suppose the question is do they give it to us before Tour or do we have to wait until they announce it for tour before they show the next wave.We won't be waiting too much longer I think..
That's definitely two ice cream scoops for the Mii helmet, and if you'll recall the datamined banner from March, we have a sweets-themed course coming...
I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I don't really have any better ideas but I'm not sure this is right. We won't be waiting too much longer I think..

That would mean that we will get to see the new ice cream track which is extremely hype.
wait was Mondo serious about that
To the left, there is a brim on the front.wait was Mondo serious about that
...which way is the head supposed to face on these
No one is "panicking," but it would be nice to have at least some form of an ETA. We have heard literally nothing related to Booster Course since the last pack dropped. It shouldn't be unreasonable to wanting to hear at least something after 4 months in the season pass we all paid for. There are 653 days between the release of wave 1 and the end of 2023. That means an average of 131 days between releases. We are currently at 125 days since the previous release, so we're not even over the average yet! Besides which, some releases being a couple weeks later and some being a couple earlier should be expected. I really don't get the panic.
Assuming this were real, what are the eight tracks they showed?apparently Nintendo Netherlands posted Wave 2 material then took it down immediately? this could be totally fake & shopped anyone know anymore about this?
Top row then bottom row left to right for both cups.Assuming this were real, what are the eight tracks they showed?
Would be an amazing set of tracks released.Clockwise from top left picture for both cups
Turnip Cup:
Tour Sydney Sprint
GBA Cheep-Cheep Island
GCN Daisy Cruiser
Wii Mushroom Gorge
Propeller Cup
Tour Singapore Speedway
3DS Shy Guy Bazaar
GBA Sunset Wilds
DS Waluigi Pinball
For sure, and I see most of 'em coming to the BCP individually, but this "tweet" has been debunked in the thread already, so don't get your hopes up too much.Would be an amazing set of tracks released.
Would make more sense to release Sydney Tour with Boomerang cup. I'm hopeful Daisy Cruiser is Wave 2, though. For sure, and I see most of 'em coming to the BCP individually, but this "tweet" has been debunked in the thread already, so don't get your hopes up too much.
sorry, it's not in the leaked listWould make more sense to release Sydney Tour with Boomerang cup. I'm hopeful Daisy Cruiser is Wave 2, though.
If Mondo trusts the list, I trust the list. Simple as that. Why are we treating this leaked list as gospel?
I also think the person who datamined the update and discovered the prefixes also thinks it is true (if this is what this tweet means)If Mondo trusts the list, I trust the list. Simple as that.
