Well the thing is, I'm not sure when those were confirmedYeah those have been basically confirmed by previous insider posts. Persona 5 is probably the biggest one in question.
Yeah, most famously Immortals Fenyx Rising and Tales of Vesperia. Two Point Hospital has doubled what it sold on PS+Xbox combined, lol
Yup, for some of us it's difficult to make time for gaming on home consoles which is why the portable nature of handhelds is so alluring. I love RPGs but the length of this genre makes it difficult for me to make any meaningful progress on home consoles. Meanwhile on handhelds I can take out my system whenever I have free time and complete a mission or two before going back to what I was doing before.I feel like people overestimate how much others are willing to get a whole other console to play a game. Or people who might not be interested in a game on a stationary console but would be if the game was portable
Like, I'm really interested in Persona 5 R, and have been for a while, but I haven't played it yet since
A. Never got a PS4 and couldn't grab a PS5
B. I'd have never finished a game like that on a stationary console anyways
That same guy who posted about the 2018 game later posted a gif that heavily suggested Nier Automata. He is also the one that stated Persona will be there.Well the thing is, I'm not sure when those were confirmed
The standout from that tweet for me is Nier, but I think the "game from 2018" hint was out there at that point and I do remember some people guessing Nier for that
Congrats you just turned the Partner showcase into a Pokémon Direct.Been too long anyways, so here goes
Jokes on you when they confirm Banjo Tooie for NSO in the N64 roadmap 2Getting my hopes up so high that it will impossible for me to not be disappointed:
I'm not gonna try to go back and find it all when the thread is moving this fast, but someone who is apparently reliable said a new game was coming that was originally 2017-18, and that he wouldn't say what it was but he'd soon post an image that everyone would recognize. And then a little while later posted a picture of Yoko Taro in his mask.Wheres this Nier confidence coming from? I wanna be confident!!
fuckin lolreggie feels anime
JA WAS HAB ICH DENN DA ANGERICHTET?!?Congrats you just turned the Partner showcase into a Pokémon Direct.
So it's confirmed then.If Nier Automata comes is only because PG needs money btw
I'm saying that the premise of your argument ("Bayonetta 3 can be part of a Partner Direct because it's not a first party game") is flawed.I actually didn't realize that. But you're arguing something entirely different from what I was proposing initially.
If they want my money they'd better bring Vanquish too. Punch in the face of Nagoshi if they need to.If Nier Automata comes is only because PG needs money btw
It would be funny if Advance Wars got pushed to December. Means it went full circle considering it was initially supposed to release December of last year.Said it before but if Mario + Rabbids releases in (let’s say October), then I doubt we have any more surprises for this year in regards to first party. Nintendo probably views Splatoon 3 (sept), Mario + Rabbids (Oct) and Pokémon (nov) as a rock solid fal line up. Toss Advanced Wars out in December and Nintendo is set (from their point of view).
PG has a shirt on pointing down at it's... equity value and saying "someone please buy me uwu"If Nier Automata comes is only because PG needs money btw
automata being ported without replicant would be such a weird move
It makes sense because Automata is an amazing game while Replicant... not so muchautomata being ported without replicant would be such a weird move
Guys, grubb is starting soon
It means the franchise has been sold to ActivisionSo does this mean yet again no Metroid Prime Remaster
Hopefully this scoop contains a lot of raisins.Almost time
Tencent money wasn’t infinite…PG has a shirt on pointing down at it's... equity value and saying "someone please buy me uwu"

Right, I'm aware of all that, but the GIF that hints at Nier was posted two days after that Syluxhunter tweet. Not sure when the interview was posted but they'd have to be going solely off the 2018 hint if it was after that interviewThat same guy who posted about the 2018 game later posted a gif that heavily suggested Nier Automata. M&R2 is a given considering the gameplay showcase on the 29th.
Good news, the next Fire Emblem just came out three days agoI just wanted to hear about the next Fire Emblem
It can still be a good presentation, but I'm not hopeful that the new game announcements that would get me really excited have much of a chance to show up. A new Ace Attorney or Mega Man would be as exciting as any first-party announcement in a general direct could be.
I'm leaning toward the third option personally. Besides, I recall someone (Nate?) saying that before 2022 fiscal year (so up to April 2023) was very likely, but 2022 calendar was uncertain. I think 2022 is extremely unlikely now, but early 2023 is very possible. Well, if we get any news before October anyway.Expected. I'm mostly curious what's gonna be happening with Fire Emblem then. I would expect a Summer (July or August) Direct at some point because of it. Otherwise there are four possibilities, all of which I would have said are very very unlikely a couple weeks ago:
-The Fire Emblem leaks were real and it is treated as a part of this because it's developed in collaboration with KT and Gust. I'm a huge doubter on this one. Three Houses was treated like an internal first-party title despite all the help KT provided. We didn't even know KT provided that much help until the game released and someone looked through the credits iirc.
-The Fire Emblem leaks were real but they're giving it maximum three months time of marketing between September and December. Idk, that just seems like an extremely short range of time. It's not unprecedented, but I thought they usually like to do four for a release that significant. It would mean they'd give it less than Three Hopes.
-The Fire Emblem leaks were real, but the part about it hitting 2022 was not. I guess this wouldn't be that unusual at all, stuff gets moved around a lot. It would mean that either the FE4 remake was also moved, or they're giving us two mainline games in one year (which they have done before for US release schedules in 2005 with Sacred Stones and Path of Radiance, but that was a long time ago when games had more condensed release schedules and Nintendo also seemed less concerned with games cannibalizing each other).
-Fire Emblem leaks, both from the Discord server and NateDrake, were all wrong. There is no FE. There never was. KT and Gust were busy with other projects. Intelligent Systems put all their resources towards Paper Mario. The screenshots were doctored or taken from some mobile knock-off. Nate got his wires crossed somewhere. This is the most unlikely, the most outlandish of them all. If this were true then the fake screenshots would be legendary. I cannot stress just how unlikely this possibility is. I might as well not list it. The only reason I did is because it is still technically a possibility with the knowledge we have.
Right now Im more excited for Grubb's show than the Direct. Ugh.Grubb is about to start
That is legally the last Fire Emblem nowGood news, the next Fire Emblem just came out three days ago
