When will the next Direct air?

I'm going with a mini. They're going to date games like Mario+Rabbids, Bayo 3, Outer Wilds, etc. Last big thing will be MP1 remaster. That would be fine by me--they simply just don't need a general.

Somehow this will be used against me if the clock isn't past midnight in a region. Being given a date/time of 28/29th is to cover there being a regional/time difference. It doesn't mean there will be one. It's just to say, "it'll be either Tuesday or Wednesday".

Some posters are already using this to say it’s most likely to be a general direct and can’t be a Mini because a Mini all happens in the same day.

But I get what you’re saying.

Which Mario Golf ? Because the last one was announced during the February direct in 2021. And I don't think that a DKCTF port can be compared with a remake/remaster of Metroid Prime. But I agree that they could announce Wind Waker HD, if it exists.
 
Branding is a deal though. Nintendo wouldn’t brand their directs differently if they didn’t have different meaning.

A Partners Direct would never have BotW 2 or a new DK game for example. Branding helps set expectations and gives you an idea on what to expect.
 
I think a lot of people here, including myself, enjoy Directs themselves, so a VOD dropped at 10 AM of course has less appeal. I don't think it's just a matter of obsessing over branding, it's about anticipating a worse show.

Furthermore, those that think enjoying Directs is stupid are still going to expect fewer games and less info.

Same! Only BOTW2 being released after the Direct would top XC3 Direct for me. And we know that's not going to happen.

All the confusion/uncertainty surrounding the Direct is just Nintendo trying suss out leakers by feeding conflicting info into the various communication channels. What's actually happening is Nintendo is announcing Nintendoggy 2 for mobile next week.
 
The best way to enjoy Nintendo stuff is to only check what's going on every 3 months or so - trying to predict them is a fool's errand xD .

It's because no one* cares about 3rd party games besides Silk Song, so if it's not a general direct then Nintendo might as well not have a direct. A partner means no 1st party and mini means very little 1st party.

*Obviously not everyone but a vast majority of people fearing one of these two are. Personally I don't care show me the game's.

I’d be happy to! I’m just out atm with some friends so I can’t exactly research and come up with a hypothesis at this particular moment in time… but later today, I will be sure to blow your minds

But first I need to know the new information. I haven’t been on much today and haven’t seen it for myself. Would someone be so kind as to @ me with a link to the info?
