So these are information we know from Nate and my thought process:
  • Not Tuesday, June 14th, and he just said on Twitter that it's not next week either.
  • Direct is still in June, soon-ish.
And I think most people here believe the Direct gonna be either Tuesday or Thursday (could be Wednesday), so based on those, here are the option and my thought on why some don't work:

- Tuesday the 21st (or 22nd if you want to go the Wednesday route) - people gonna say it the same week with FE Warrior so it won't happen, but I disagree, the fact that there is a release makes more sense if they throw a quick ad in the Direct to remind people it's coming right in that week makes even more sense.

- Thursday the 23rd - now this is the one I don't think happens because of the release that week, usually, this day is when the reviews are out, and you either don't want to overshadow the reviews because it's good or in case it's bad, you don't want people who just got reminded of the release date to know it's not good.

- Tuesday the 28th and Thursday the 30th, literally 1 day before and after the earning, there is no reason for the Direct to be on these days, not alone this week. Need some time for people to be hyped so these investors can see it and reflect on the stock. And you don't want to have an earning call for investors to ask questions but there is nothing much to ask then announce a bunch of things the next day.

My overall point is, very high chance it's gonna be the week of 3Hopes, so much potential and free slots there.

- Thursday the 16th - IDK, totally possible, I don't think Nate denied it yet.

Nate did deny next week. And I don’t doubt it can be the week of 3 Hopes release, but I don’t think the investors meeting has any bearing on a direct.

Nintendo has already announced a bunch of games this year, investors don’t need to see full trailers or have exact release dates before a meeting. Nintendo will just discuss that they have their announced titles and more to come. And if they announce a direct before the investors meeting they would just say “please stay tuned to our Nintendo direct presentation airing tomorrow (6/30) for information on future titles”. It probably works better for Nintendo to air it after the meeting so some investors don’t go “why didn’t you show BOTW2, you are doomed”

I believe all we need to do now is figure out who in Famiboards has jury duty set for one of those few possible days remaining. Then, we will have found the Direct date.

When did Nate deny next week?
From what I read, he said that it wasn’t on the 14th and that the Neon White leak wasn’t what we though (direct on the 15th at E3 time)

He didn’t say anything about the 15th at non E3 time or for the 16th

Someone posted it on here, he did it on Twitter

Elmo and fire have 4 letters each. That means we will have a Direct in four days. Tuesday 14th is back, baby!

well I would say that investors in general don't care about games, they care about money.

So all the Infos we have from @NateDrake (Thank you for all your Infos you provide us) is that there will be Nintendo Direct is in June, coming soon-ish, it’s not gonna be Next Week, and it’s later than usally…

Oke, at this Point I‘m so tired of wating and speculating tho I like the ride with all you guys…

But just let us be nostalgic and look back at our favorite Directs!

Post them here, lets have some fun!

I think it could be either of these two dates, and regarding Fire Emblem I think there is a strong possibility that the rumored New Fire Emblem is shown in a September direct leaving these two dates open for the June direct.

I am so desperate for the Direct too but like we know it will be either third of fourth week of June. So am fine, when we have reassurence it's much better. Direct will come in time, chill. It would be worse if we didn't knew if it's even coming this month.

May be an improvement over Spowser.

MVG and I need to figure out when we are recording, actually. He's moving soon and will be without internet for a while.
"For Dill" is still my favorite donation message, followed by "bark" from Lucy. She had the right instincts about Metroid Dread being a banger.

Whenever you two manage to record this one, I know I can settle in for some great banter, legendary ball-shaving ad spots, and hype predictions. Already planning out my morning tomorrow with some tea, biscotti, and Xbox discussion.

Direct discussion:

I think I figured it out now. This is the second time since Nate is posting Elmo in 24 hours, so it clearly is a hint. I looked at up and Elmo became available in 1996. 2022-1996 = 26. So Direct is confirmed for June 26th, yeah you would say that it's on Sunday but I have clear explanation: Donkey Kong Land was released on June 26th for Game Boy. Remake to be announced at the Direct, because of the anniversary. Thank me later.

Alright so yesterday when vibes were low I had an idea to lift things up in in here...

Quote reply to this message with your favorite memory of a Direct Announcement. Be specific: where were you when you were watching, how many tears did you shed, what were your Direct snacks?

I’ll randomly pick one of the (valid) replies tomorrow (Saturday) morning and gift them an eshop game of their choosing, $20 max! (or I suppose credit if a code isn't possible) Include the game you’d be hoping to grab with it in your reply to give the devs some love :)

I still remember that E3 2019 Direct when Banjo and Kazooie were announced for Smash. That bouncing Jiggy made me scream and jump like an absolute madman, no kidding. I even shed a tear or two every time I rewatch the trailer; rather than "Banjo and Kazooie are finally on Smash!" it's more like "finally they are back, in any given form" and that's such a pure joy. It was amazing to see all Banjo fans unite in happiness lol.

Maybe somewhat offtopic but I think we are due to the Direct graphics, intro + background music revamp. Last time it lasted from 2017 to 2019, we are now in 2022.
