When will the next Direct air?

yeah like I said, its certainly possible its not next week, but for me enough evidence leads toward it that I believe it. In the end we just have to wait and see

I can't understand why Nintendo would wait till the end of June tho...
It will be too late to date games in August (so no August games?) and the direct will be too close to the September one.

The only reason I can think of is that they won't do a general direct in September then. Maybe they'll do a BotW2 direct instead...
 
I am all in on 6/29-6/30

Thank you Nate for allowing Direct speculation to leave my brain for almost the next two weeks

Last year we were waiting for the Pro announcement when Nintendo announced the Direct, we just have to do it all over again.


Hey guys, i'm pretty sure Nintendo will announce the Pro next week

I don’t think they will have an august game or it is something that can be dropped with a month notice. They have Live A Live in July and Xenoblade at the end of July which is essentially their “August” game. Splatoon in September.

Hasn’t he been saying soon-ish for a while now?

Very end of June makes that pretty suspect, don’t you think? I don’t think most people would say almost month out is soon-ish.
 
Anyway I still think it's next week.
Nate didn't say that the direct isn't next week, he only said that the leak wasn't what we thought (the direct on the 15th) and that the direct is "soon-ish"
The problem is that we don't know how to interpret that "ish"

I still believe in my theory of his hint on yt (the 14th [tradition] but non-E3 time [later])
 
The 15th was seriously so perfect

Someone said the answer hidden in the question “same time as normal or a bit later” meaning same time (9 AM PST) but later (the Wednesday instead of Tuesday) and I thought for sure that it was it, it was so clever 😭
 
It's next week.

That's why I'm thinking that it's the other way around
Tradition is for the day (Tuesday)
Later is for the time (midnight instead of 6 pm CEST)

If we are sure that it's not on the 15th, this doesn't rule out the 14th...
