I'm not doubtful a Direct or something from Nintendo in general is coming soon, I just don't think that embargo is the rock-solid proof people think it is. There are gonna be a whole lotts video game press embargos over the next 2 weeks.

Neon White and that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is solid proof imo

Link's Awakening is possibly at 6 million or more on Switch by now, making it one of the better performing Zelda titles; so maybe that focuses minds a little. Or something could already be in the works, who knows? It seems odd to me that Nintendo would miss the opportunity to build on the broader success of the series, but that's the rub with their internal development: they can never take advantage of every opportunity.
 
I mean the guy who leaked Neon White literally said he had corroborating evidence that was under NDA that it was a direct thing. I don't see a reason why he would be honest about Neon White but lie about that

Or it was made by Neon White developers themselves just to get everyone talking about their game.

But I ask you, to what end?
Dread it.

Direct arrives all the same.
And now, it's (almost)here.

No. He had multiple embargo that lifted around that time and assumed they must all be related to a Direct.

fair enough, I guess we just have to wait and see. I'll believe in the 15th until Tuesday morning passes with no announcement

I feel like something like this has happened before, a few smaller Indies or third parties get dated, and a Direct or Indie World happens to air on the same day
 
Next week is too soon and the TMNT/Neon White evidence is too feeble.
The 22nd/23rd is the same week as Fire Emblem release, meaning nope.
The 29th/30th is the week.

Nate has. And based on his hints it seems it will be later than usual in June.

I mean I've seen some other insiders also state they heard the 15th, so I'm just leaning there heavily with the addition of all the embargos to that, Nate isn't infallible, if I'm wrong I'm wrong not too big a deal

While Nate's had bad or misleading info before, I don't think he's ever messed up a Direct date

Him being against next week is a big strike against it. Still hoping he's wrong though (sorry Nate)
