my family isnt going to be able to do much of anything this weekend, our son is still in his covid quarantine period. so i'll be doing yard work, watching stranger things, and spending time with my wife and kiddo

So IKEA just came and delivered our kitchen, as per the sale they only had to 3 strong guys deliver it to our door but no longer - we chatted a bit, and I saw that he had Majoras Mask tattood on his hand.

I mentioned and asked if he was a fan, he was so happy I recognised what it was so he decided that he and his coworkers would help us carry everything inside as well.

My first win as a nerd, feels good.
 



A few Asian games on here, it seems.

Anyone interested in them?

I haven't played an action game in a long while.

The original Mega Drive Mini's emulation work was done by M2, who also did the emulation work for the NSO app. I don't know if the NSO emulator was based on the Mega Drive Mini's emulator in any capacity, but if there WAS any programming/code crossover, I do think that's a great sign regarding Sega CD games coming to NSO. That said, I think from a business perspective, they'll only do that once the main sales period of the Mega Drive Mini 2 is over, as the inclusion of CD games is going to be one of the biggest selling points.

I'm going to hold off to see if they announce a Genesis Mini 2 for North America, and if it's going to include Snatcher.

like genuinely, that right there is THE 1 game
 
Going to spend my weekend working and rewatching the Final Fantasy XVI and Street Fighter 6 trailers over and over.
 
I will be buying this mega drive mini 2 even if it is Japan exclusive (I assume it will be at play Asia and see it’s already on Amazon Japan. Not sure I have an account with them set up). Let’s just hope they ad the English roms like they did with the first one. I need these working designs games stat!

I'm catching the new Cronenberg film, Crimes of the Future, tonight, then my parents are coming up to my region in Upstate NY because I'm treating them to a Paul McCartney concert tomorrow night. Then Sunday will be the day for chores and more Earthbound! Just made it to Fourside.

Really hoping to finish Earthbound before end of June so I have the better part of July to beat Star Fox 64 and finally beat XenoblaDE before 3 comes out. Then August-early September will be Xeno 3 and Octo expansion all the way.

SFV Champion Edition is currently on sale for 14,99€ on PS Store. I never played it, and I am looking forward to SF6.

I might just bite.

Need Xenoblade X rerelease/expansion/sequel. I’m really tempted to hook up the Wii U to play it again.

Tomorrow we celebrate our ninth anniversary with my fiancé, I said I'd make us a brunch ; then on Sunday it's her birthday so her whole family is coming for lunch. So basically for the last two days I spent my day cooking (turns out making homemade croissants is really hard), and for the next two days I'll spend my day eating. So a good weekend overall
 
Actually reflecting on it, considering cancelling my HG Alteisen preorder. On a tight budget at the moment and want the Rayearth trio more, plus between my backlog and HG Dragonar and Ryujinmaru, I have more than enough kits right now. Plus it’s likely to be available for quite a while if I do change my mind. Plus maybe they’ll announce another SRW OG I want more

But I'll be working from home all next week so you better believe I'll be on the couch with the laptop and tuned into the goings-on with Not-E3 on the TV.

Sega: "Welcome to our summer internship program. Your first job is uhhh...well we got this IGN First thing for Sonic. Just go over to those demo stations and record gameplay of you doing stuff. Send what you got to the marketing team by the end of the day so they can get those emailed to IGN".

Ten Years Gone is such a good song. I didn't get a chance to really dive into the LedZep discography until university, but TYG stood out so high above the rest and I still enjoy it a great deal...10+ years later

The perks of nerds banding together is low-key but damn if the benefits aren't worth it. I noticed my car sales rep had a Pokemon wallet, he gave me a $1500 discount, put me on a priority list for my plug-in hybrid to get it even faster, and we played Mario Kart on our Switches after we signed the paper work.
