this week, weekly things will take place, and not so weekly things may or may not take place

already finished 100%ing legends arceus and now i desperately need a direct to announce something to fill the void

God yes. Revisit the entire Shadow era.

Between the comics and the "Filoniverse" playing out on Disney+, there's plenty of avenue to do so~!

Part of me is daring to hope the "face-melting reveals" teased for the BoBF finale may point to such a thing.

Could be the first game or two is on-cart, the rest are cloud or something
The Collection is already available on PS4/XOne. Its a compilation of PS3/X360 remasters (Ayslum, City and Origins). It’s probably gonna be Ayslum on cart and the rest as download. They will be surely native ports

Don’t be surprised that PS4/XOne era games (Arkham Knight and Gotham Knights) will be released as cloud versions.

Arkham Knight coming to Switch through cloud would explain why AT&T randomly offered Arkham Knight streaming on Stadia backend last year

Between BOTW, Paper Mario, and Pokemon Legends, I'm really loving the Switch game trend of slowly adding more instruments to a town's theme song as you make more progress.

XenoblaDE does this too with Colony 6, although it’s slightly more in-depth than adding instruments. It’s a great touch that really makes you feel like things are improving and growing

As much as I enjoyed Arkham Knight I’d gladly settle for that being a cloud version so long as Asylum and City are native.

Damn, that’s mighty fine news to wake up to.

WB take your inferior Arkham Knight back and give me superior Arkham Origins, athankyou.

Sadly, Origins has yet to be remastered, the collection PS4 had was just Asylum and City. Two games. Lather they added Knight to another collection.

It's time for Origins to come back. It had the best story.

If anyone is still waiting to pick up Pokemon Legends Arceus, the Target B2G1 is live and all first party Nintendo games are included (minus pre-orders)

The Arkham games are great, for the most part, but I would still love for someone to make a Batman game in the style of the animated series.

This show was a formative part of my childhood.

Some of us were chatting about how Nintendo should work with external teams to do more licensed games. And last year's licensed game was a DC cartoon adaptation...

Yeah, last year's DC/Nintendo game and MUA3 make me hopeful that we might see more such collaborations. The idea about a Batman game in this style has been on my mind for a while now, and I really want it to happen.

NLG's next project is revealed to be an all new Batman game, entirely done in the stlye of the animated series. Mark Hamill will reprise his role as the Joker.

Without spoilers (if possible) if there’s some weird, unique answer, but is there a trick to shiny hunting? I guess I assumed it was just running around looking for one in the overworld haha. I haven’t wanted to spoil myself on if that’s true or not, but now I’m thinking, depending on how you do it, I’d hate to have put all my time into the game and have missed it.
I shouldn’t be answering you as I haven’t played the game yet, but from my understanding, you and @Pineapple are doing it right. The hordes are your best chance for a particular shiny. I also believe Pokédex levels (or the amount of a species you catch, which could be the same thing) increases your shiny chance, and there’s a returning item that can also help out further.

Took advantage of the Target B2G1F prorate trick to finally grab Kirby star allies and Monster Hunter Rise for a total of 56$ so I’m happy

Check the OP for the shiny info

Edit: wrong thread, sorry, I meant check the Legends: Arceus ST

I only saw the Eurogamer report on the Arkham collection listing, but there wasn't any info on the contents. Arkham Knight is the 4th game actually, I know Origins apparently was not as well received as the others and was made by a different studio, but would they skip it?

That's exactly what they did for the Arkham Collection on PS and Xbox.

Okay yeah I really, really don't get the Origami King hate now. This is awesome. The music is great, the humor is fantastic, and the world is super fun to explore. The battles aren't the best, but they're not super bad like I was led to believe. They're fun. I have yet to hit a boss battle though so things might change.
One of us, one of us

TOK is a masterpiece and I’ll never stop saying it

Even the Cloud part? Please No
Also finally Batman for Switch that is not Telltale
It’s a retail listing, that should mean that it is at least partially running natively. Given the large file sizes, I’m pretty sure they won’t all be on cartridge though.

I can see Asylum, City and Origins being included here. “Collection” is a vague term and does’nt have to mean that it’s the same one as the other platforms. It could also be the original “Return to Arkham” collection which means only the first two.
Knight could be offered as a cloud version, or maybe this is one of the “crazier” ports that were rumored.

The listing says 18+ btw, if that’s not a placeholder then it includes Knight afaik

Had another good nights sleep and I am in much better spirits today than yesterday. Hell, I woke up at one point at 5 am and felt like I could do anything

I am starting Pokémon legends today

A strain of indica by the name of Hawaii Heartbreak while trying to find that specific video to watch on YouTube and laugh at, until I realized I was typing it wrong lol
good source

Elaborate for a cash strapped friend.
Target has a B2G1F deal going on. The way it works online is if you cancel 1-2 games in the order the remaining ones are prorated the balance(so you don’t get a free game persay, you get the value of the cheapest game subtracted evenly from all 3 games. So let’s say you ordered 3 games at 60 each, the system is taking 20$ from the price of each one rather than 60 from a single game). So if you cancel what you don’t want you still get the remaining games at a reduced rate. Kirby Star Allie’s is already at sale at $45 and MHR is at $34, by using the prorating trick I got them for 30 and 22 (plus tax)respectively after cancelling the other 4 games in the order. You do have to act pretty quick tho, target is fast on shipping so you’ve got a hour to act(which isn’t that big a deal)

Good game!. Just keep in mind that the entire game is one big dungeon with more dungeons within it.

It’s only flaw, is that the switch button controls are still a bit awkward since it was really designed with motion.

As an aside, did they increase the difficulty of Diamond/Pearl? Cynthia from the elite 4 is kicking my ass. I keep losing. Like holy shit.
I have a few questions about SSHD if you have a sec! I love the original game.

Is it true that the Switch 1:1 swordplay and motion controls require more frequent calibration than the Wii version? Do the Switch motion controls work as well as they did on Wii? I thought I'd heard some concerns about that.

Are there any other disadvantages to the Switch version? Does 60 fps feel good with the gameplay?

I found little issue with the motion controls. I do think you calibrate a more often but it’s a button press so wasn’t that big of a deal. I did just play Galaxy from 3DAS, so was used to it. 60 FPS is amazing for this game and really makes it super smooth.
