Available on Wii U VC if all things (not in NA unfortunately). I would very much like releases of the old PSP Konami shooter collections. Gradius, Parodius, Salamander, Hudson Soldier collection, twinbee. It’s sort of insane. Too bad only Gradius collection made it to the west.
Yeah, I was surprised to see this when I was looking up the game on google, because it was so long ago I could not even remember the actual title. The original never got released in NA either, from what I found.

Konami would do well to make more of their legacy content available overall, but alas.

With how Mario Party is proven to be a huge seller (not that it wasn't already one), I think the next Smash cannot ignore Mario Party representation any longer. Seriously, there is surprisingly little music from that series, also there are no stages or items from that series, despite having a higher sales count than many series that got representation like Kirby or Punch Out.

Thank you for reading.

I finally beat Zone 4 of Crypt of the Necrodancer with Cadence for the first time. It was stressful but fun.

I unlocked a new character and the story continues but from what I'm reading the final story character is stupid hard so maybe I'll just stop playing while I'm winning lol.

A next Smash certainly could ignore Mario Party but, aside from the sales perspective, there's a lot that could be done for stages and/or items, and music is, of course, a welcome vibe.

Basically, the prospective additions fit perfecy with the idea of Smash. Throw it all together and we can call it a Smash Party.

Thank you for reading.
You are, in fact, welcome. Thank you.

I've been watching Book of Boba Fett while doing the dishes and I've come to the conclusion that this is literally the best way to watch this show.
Heh. I started watching it recently and I haven’t seen any of the Mandalorian seasons but I’m struggling to hang on. It feels very much like something that’s treading water or going through the motions. Really hoping it picks up with episode 4.

I recommend you stop watching now and watch The Mandalorian. The Book of Boba Fett really is a sequel to the Mandalorian but that doesn't become apparent until episode 5. If you start episode 5 without having watched The Mandalorian, you will be completely lost.

I'll put it this way. The Book of Boba Fett is like a handheld Kingdom Hearts game. You think you can just skip the handheld games because they are side stories and that you can just play KH3 after KH2. Nope, the handheld games are the direct continuations of KH2. The Book of Boba Fett is a direct continuation of The Mandalorian.

It's a little bit dull, right? Not really sure what to make of it despite liking Morrison and the usual Star Wars trappings.

I was feeling similar about the show until last week and this weeks episode. The completely flipped in on itself. It's basically a brand new show now.

A friend told me which is precisely why I started watching it. I probably wouldn't have otherwise but I mostly enjoyed Mando.

Oh it has been done.

That is remarkable.

Next Smash game should have a Mario Party stage with Chance Time: you and your opponents swap stocks and damage in the middle of the battle.

The Mandalorian is distinctly the better show, which becomes pretty apparent once you hit episode 5 of Boba Fett where

It basically just becomes an episode of the Mandalorian and is distinctly better than the preceding 4 episodes

People itt mean well, I know, but the repeated, albeit occasional mention of BoBF inches me ever closer to randomly unleashing a rant about my personal issues with this show that absolutely nobody will want to read, and that I am convinced is not worth my time and effort to bring to paper the internet.

It's the fact that Boba Fett is actually a lame ass non-character, isn't it?

I've never understood the appeal of Boba Fett outside of the design of the character itself being kinda cool.

People never really wanted a Boba Fett show. Mando is the cooler Boba Fett by a significant margin.

This was made very clear by Mando stealing the show the second he's on screen. Then Grogu and Cobb Vanth also steal the show in the latest episode. Boba has like 30 seconds of screentime in the last few episodes lmao

Being a lame ass non-character was acceptable when he was a tangential character with a grand total of five lines in the original trilogy, but staying a lame ass non-character in your own series is just…

I've got my issues with the show. Been meaning to write up a rundown for that one very dead thread over in the roost.

I'm pretty well convinced they didn't actually care at all about the Boba Fett stuff.

Boba was at his best in The Mandalorian, where he was just another badass character in Mandalorian armor. He's great as a side character. Not a main character.

One of my issues is that this series does not feel like it was designed to stand on its own two legs, but rather as a Mandalorian spin-off. The Mandalorian, Season 2.5 if you will.

Basically. But it also seems like they did a half-hearted effort at best at making Boba a main character.

BoBF just feels very...manufactured is the best word I think. It's like a cobbled together mess of nostalgia appeal, half-hearted world building, and corporate mandates. And that applies to the good parts too

As an example, take Fennec Shand. Disney seems to be trying very hard to make her a thing but don't seem willing to put in the legwork to make her an actual interesting character. Which might've worked if they stuck to occasional appearances (many popular Star Wars characters have become popular with even less character) but becomes kinda obvious when given a starring role in a show. Kinda similar to the show's namesake character in that regard

Star Wars?

Pokemon!?

NINTENDO!?!?!?!?!?!?

How about we stop talking about bad stuff and start about good stuff? What's your favorite scented wax cube?

Winter cedar wood. Easily. But I also live in the evergreen state so I think it’s a law that we have to say that.

Boba Fett should have stayed dead. This is actuslly a Star Wars trope at this point with villains, and it’s irritating. Haven’t watched the show yet so don’t spoil it as I will since the it sounds like it could be related to the Mandolorian

Really can't believe they gave Boba flashbacks and the best they could come up with was "how boba learn use stik"
"Did you ever hear the tragedy of Boba and his Stik? I hope not. It's not a story Disney should have told you. It's a shit legend."

Edit: For real, though, the flashbacks lead to the pacing of the show being all over the place, to the point where what is supposedly the main storyline has barely advanced at all(?) since it started.

OK

Finally finished Horizon Zero Dawn after

What that aside, the game was really quite good :D The story was the best part for sure, and I'm annoyed I didn't play it before practically everything was spoiled for me. The gameplay was really fun - if a little bit basic in the end (maybe I should have played on a higher difficulty, idk). The open world elements weren't too egregious, but I can definitely see why it was compared so un-favourably to BotW when it launched. However, none of that is what the sequel can't solve, so I'm really looking forward to playing that soon.

Now I can finally, a week after launch, start Pokemon Legends. After I've decided whether to play as a boy or girl. And decided on my name. So... it might be another week before I actually start it.

They would be up in arms about the kids
After seeing the way they've handled school shootings and how they spent the whole pandemic pushing that covid doesn't really affect kids and they should go back to school maskless, I uh.. wouldn't be so sure about that.

I edited the spoiler to correct a mistake, sorry. Hope you're doing better, I remember you posting about your cat :(
I’ve been doing better, thanks. Thought I name one if Pokémon after him if it was in the game. Haven’t gotten to,playing it yet due to psychonauts 2, which I’m taking a break from as it feels like I’m forcing myself to play it

Probably true. Not really watching the “Fair and Balanced” channel to know what they’re saying.

Have been taking a look at my eshop wishlist and damn, I completely forgot I still have not gotten Cyber Shadow. Wanted to pick it up on a sale, but I guess I lost track of it at some point.

In case anyone here has played it, would you recommend it to someone who enjoyed The Messenger?
