Deliberately provocative February 2nd takes aside, I'm listening to the Hyrule Symphony while I work, and I live for the day there's a version of Ocarina of Time with an instrumental and orchestrated soundtrack. Biggest oversight across the OOT/MM/WW/TP remasters, for me. Hopefully not an opportunity Nintendo miss when they inevitably get around to the next release of those games.
This reminds me of my naivete of hoping for the Mario 64 "remaster" via all-stars to be a lot more ambitious than it was, aka hoping for a re-orchestrated soundtrack lol.

I'd love if Nintendo re-orchestrated soundtracks for Mario/Zelda/etc. remasters similar to how Square Enix, for example, does with Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Alas, it's probably not meant to be, and we need actual full on remakes to get remade music ala Link's Awakening 2019 or Shadows of Valentia.

Yeah OoT would have a glorious orchestrated OST. Although a few of the tracks might lose something if they changed away from synth, like the Forest Temple in particular is one that comes to mind, but that's definitely more the exception than the rule. And I'm sure they could come up with a way to solve that issue, too.

I totally expect that at FY results Nintendo will reveal something (but not a game obviously), something like oh next Nintendo Movie will be with x IP or so on.

Why?

They might announce that the Mario movie trailer will be at the Superbowl but I don't think there's any reason to expect anything more than that.

The Book of Boba Fett, starring everyone except Boba Fett

For real, though. I could go on a rant about this, but I refuse to put my energy towards that.

Yep.

Also I love that you can randomly find yourself extremely overmatched in like a 5 on 1 battle.
Honestly what pisses me off the most is that it goes back to the nonsense of RSE 2v2 battles. Have to send in a Pokemon that gets decimated inbetween the wild pokemon moves and I can't even get an attack in edgewise

Holy shit

I'm an idiot
Bruh same 😂 I figured leaves, snowpiles, mining ores, yeah toss any random Pokemon at them. Big ass boulders? "Oh, we must be unlocking bombs later in the game to progress further" <-- my dumb ass thought process lol

Glad u all like the new board

Hope it helps

I've got a cool idea for another bot that posts tweets as Wario64 makes them. Might include cheap ass gamer too

Famiboards doesn't technically own Rusty's Real Deals. It's actually owned by The Rusty's Real Deals Company of which Famiboards is a 33% stake owner in.
oh so there‘s a chance we might see Rusty‘s Real Deals on other message boards? 👀

Can not wait for the Famiboards X Rhythm Heaven spin-off, that will be a must-play to be able to fully understand the increasingly obscure Famiboards lore.

I was at my local game shop today and Pokemon is completely sold out.... I'm used to that with games not that popular like SMT V, but Pokemon? The clerks were also quite surprised. REALLY curious about the numbers of that game now.

A completely meaningless anecdote, but I've never seen as many people in my (admittedly quite small) friends list playing the same game before. Made me realize that PLA probably has a quite a wide appeal (and great WoM)

Sales are going to be big for this one

What's up with mainstream gaming media reporting that the PS5 has beaten the lifetime sales of the Wii U in a little more than a year like it's some kind of achievement? It would have been an absolut disaster if it hadnt :p

Also, I'm about 15 hours in to Skyward Sword by now - and I've been thinking about the outrage with the added perk of the Amiibo. I'm not even sure it's giving any advantage at all so far.. so what was up with the outrage really? ppl just wanted to be upset about something?

Nintendo Sales Report in about 13(?) hours, if I am not mistaken. Hoping for 2,5-3 mil for Metroid Dread.

I guess it's because outlets reported the same thing for the Switch, but to be fair outlets did that because Nintendo had just come off their worst major failure of all time (not including the virtual boy) ??

It still doesn't make much sense tho, lol. People only reported it for the Switch as a sort of cheeky victory lap.

This world with all it's turmoil and confusion, it needs a cherry on top

Atari Jaguar II when?

Holy crap yeah this is the ultimate Pokemon game.

For starters, I enter a cave and am not immediately assailed by Zubats, that was a relief. Then after exploring the cave I find a rock blocking an exit and decide to try throwing a Pokemon at it to see what they can do, and voila! They break the rock. I guess Bibarel likes to gnaw on more than just wood.

Anyway I love the exploration in this, I didn't think there'd be that much incentive to explore but the different types of materials and Pokemon you find in different areas, along with random moments like in the cave I stumbled upon, that just oozes adventure and exploration.

I'm hooked.
If this is the same cave I’m thinking of, I entered through the blocked entrance first, and then explored the cave and what laid on the other side. By the time I emerged back out through the once-blocked off entrance, it was nighttime, and a giant alpha Golbat was waiting for me right in front of the opening. Waiting… to remind me that I was on his turf.

Everybody's Horses will be an HD Rumble-based narrative puzzle game centered on a conflict between Cowboys vs Communists, with a Romeo & Juliet love story between a young rancher and a Marxist horseman.

I don't think I've posted in here before; this is the thread to drop our crapposts, right?

To answer your question, yes, weebs do talk about weeb stuff in here.

So we all agree it's a 1-2 Switch sequel, and the "horse person" is a cowboy, right?

Definitely. Well, I could see an anthropomorphized horse character being your 'guide' to the game, like Rusty or Wii Fit Trainer* but they are probably a cowboy.

*Disclaimer: I've never played either of those games so I could be misunderstanding their purposes.

Speaking of guiding characters, I hope EPD can find something for Nikki to do in the future

this episode had a great title too "From the desert comes a stranger"
I was not expecting that particular stranger. Maybe I should have since he has history with Boba but also this show has barely been about Boba in the past two episodes so that wasn't on my mind

yeah it's weird that he hasn't been in the last 2 eps besides nodding to Mando this one. But really loved how well THAT stranger translated to live action. He was pretty menacing

Yep. Looking forward to the numbers. Famitsu drops tomorrow, NPD in about two weeks something?

Nintendo might announce first weekend figures for Pokemon Legends with their results tomorrow, even though it's outside the reporting window.

2 million or more for Dread as an opening quarter would be an excellent result.
