My copy may or may not be arriving tomorrow. But I’ve been waiting 19 years for a Metroid 5, I can wait a little longer. If I have to.

So I heard someone mention that the game will unlock at 12am on the East Coast (US). Is this true? And if so does that mean I'll be able to play it early if I live in the west?
 
Im curious do people try to 100% their metroid games, everytime I play super metroid and prime I do this, but with fusion and zero mission Its a pain with all the tricks you need to do so I skip it when I replay them. Wonder how hard this game will be to 100%

Fingers crossed, my copy is on the way from the state over and supposed to arrive tomorrow so I’m hopeful and I’ll probably do a rare weekend blast through. Doubt I’ll be as lucky on my other 2 games of the winter tho

Yep, first party Nintendo titles typically unlock across the US at 12 am EST

So if you're PST, that would be 9 PM. 10 PM Mountain, 11 PM Central

Morph ball could still be necessary for tiny spaces that are more than one block long, or morph ball mazes, or a hole that's halfway up a wall where Samus can't slide to, etc.

I’m going to hold off on getting it. Maybe it’s something I will get into over Christmas break. Wife wants to replay LM3 and I still need to finish Doom Eternal DLC.

First party titles always unlock at 12AM ET / 9PM PT. Have fun playing Dread tonight before bed.
 
My copy was finally shipped today and is expected to arrive tomorrow! I'm so excited!

Is it a midnight unlock in the US? If it's eastern time, I'm getting in my first couple of hours tonight!
 
Very fun so far! Played for about an hour and have beaten the first two EMMI’s (although the first one doesn’t really count).

Quite a few deaths so far, but to be fair that was mostly due to me being dumb and trying to rush the EMMI encounter instead of planning them out.

Even at the early stage without most of the upgrades, movement and running through areas at speed when you can just feels good.

Because when we originally started it, we were technically "a part" of Reset. We were the Xbox Community of Reset. But then when there was...shall we say, a falling out, we had already built up too much of a brand to change it.

It would be a massive headache to change it now.
 
This game is very good. I'm 2 hours in and there's so much stuff on the map I can't get to yet. Amazing.
 
Played for an hour before forcing myself to stop.

...man, it all just feels so good.
 
Started playing this morning before work and really enjoyed the first odd hour. It's hard to believe that a new 2D Metroid game is upon us!
