I still am on Team Announcement next week because with the delay, they can just do their stuff like with Switch back in 2016.

Yes I think so, don't think we're getting any real news about anything till June at the earliest. If investors ask about their plans and why they don't have much they're just gonna say "we have many unannounced titles for the second half of the year" then just do a June direct as is standard. I don't even think they need to confirm a new consoles existence at this next meeting, maybe a slight mention but literally nothing tangible.

They are already doing so well. Might even just announce another fucking movie or a tv series. It'd shut people up "fuck you we made a billion dollars and we can keep doing it since we have a billion IP stop talking to us about consoles"

The best part is that that video is an extreme worst-case scenario. Switch 2 in handheld mode will 100% be capable of playing Doom Eternal at a much higher internal res than 360p. The only reason it would be that low is if they included it as some kind of 60fps battery-saver mode. So docked mode would be leaps and bounds better.

It's boring, why put your hopes on mere words that have absolutely no basis as well as confirmation?I feel like I'm getting more and more on board with Lic's radical attitude that I don't need reasons not to believe, I need reasons to believe.

Again, in my post of last night. Could Pyoro just hint several things in one image?

Sure, apparently this is coming, but Pyoro tweets things a week before announcements, right. I doubt that Nintendo would announce this around their Investors Meeting. Especially if Pyoro liked a tweet about multiple Switches.

And also, like @darthdiablo said multiple times; for NSO Pyoro is more transparent, so that would also be counted for this game, even if it may not come to NSO and is just a classic NES game. I have a little faith that Pyoro was maybe hinting at this yes, but simultaneously at Switch 2 aswell. This was cryptic enough and not transparent.

Pyoro is smart, and he commented last week on the Switch 2 Mobapad stuff. He damn sure knows people are waiting for Switch 2, and he damn knows how to handle in these kinds of situations.

People are shocked, and think it's over. But before I say such things, I wait patiently for next week, and won't lose hope yet.
 
You know, there is actually a funny third option Nintendo could do for the investor's meeting.

"About the details for this Fiscal Year, due to some special circumstances you'll have to wait until the June's annual meeting. Please understand."

because it's not boring, at least for me. Sooner or later(hoping sooner) one of these "fun ride" will be the right one and i want to have fun waitin, with tinfoil hats and magnets.

p.s. my english isn't great, so i hope i'm not coming off as rude or antagonizing, only giving my perspective as a long time lurker

They really don't need to disclose Switch 2 to any investors, they will do it when they feel they are ready to. Like I mention before last 2 gen Nintendo wasn't in a successful position they needed to assure investors everything is okay in Nintendo land hence both Wii U and Switch were announced 2 years prior to release. We're most likely going to get info on the new system when they are ready to mass produce the thing to avoid leaks coming out of the factory, so why I'm speculating September/October reveal.

It's okay, my mother tongue is Chinese, and my English is not very good, I can't read some memes on the forum, but I think overly focusing on some words and useless information will consume a lot of energy, and I'm tired of some speculations based on just words, there is a saying in China that "the boat will naturally straighten out when it reaches the bridge".

While there is truth to this, we are in a speculation thread. Please just try to ignore what you don't want to see even if it's tiring. There is a literal button to ignore users that speculate on this type of thing too. You are able to curate your famiboards experience to some extent, you can even just follow specific users and interact from the news feed.

I do personally have the mindset of it'll come when it comes also. I think the year is going by really quickly anyway so it won't be too much longer of a wait ^_^

Yeah, I think it’s clear we’re at the point where Nintendo is trying to keep the Switch alive for as long as they can and continue to say its their focus, even if by the end they piss off every single one of their investors.

I dont think investors are pissed off with Nintendo more like they just want the stock to go up like all these game companies with lay offs "easy" quick cash.

if he do another post with some image we cant relate for the nes game , and the game not be announced today (friday) , we are in a good posicion to have like a direct or some kinda of event , witch can have a SW2 announcement before investor meeting

witch can be logical assuming we dont have 2024/2 games

I think he’s hinting a timeline. From observing the image, only SW3 is on, 1m, 15s. June 15th?

I’d imagine going “Switch will still remain our main focus for the next fiscal year” and then suddenly there’s a new system that becomes the main focus wouldn’t be received well.
