This is my most anticipated game of the year, followed closely by SaGa Emerald Beyond. New trailer released not too long ago:
 
I'm really on the fence about this because I have slowly been discovering that I don't actually like strategy games as much as I thought I did, but this trailer was the first trailer where I felt like I could see myself playing it. I do hope we get a demo.

Been sold on this ever since the first trailer. Can not wait! Also super glad I managed to get the Monarch Edition, because those samples from the 16-bit OST sound really good as well.

About the Collectors Edition, it's iirc still available at Amazon.de for PS5 and X Series, the Switch one is sold out though.

I... just repordered the game. I almost never do that. But the 3 first months of the year are crrazy for jrpgs.

That card game looks equal parts complicated as it will look nice on my shelf.

Or to be a bit cheeky, โ€œA Tactical Rarityโ€

It'll fit in well alongside the 13 Sentinels icon. As for a thread subtitle maybe something Queen related since this game has those Ogre Battle vibes.

Every single thing I see about this game just keeps reaffirming that it's going to own my soul when it comes out

    • So much of this game looks promising but I doubt that the sexism is gonna be kept to a low enough roar for me. Some of those designs/animations...no.

    Which is a shame, because there are quite a few good female character designs in there.
     
    Not gonna play the demo. Progress carrying over is nice, but finishing the demo and having to wait for the full release for a week plus is more painful than just skipping the demo in my experience.

    I'll be there no matter what.

    This is almost where I'm at. It's almost crueler since it just means I can start it now and have to wait with actual knowledge, instead of just waiting.


    ...but I could just touch it....
     
    I'm only an hour in and I like it. Runs fabulously on an OG red box Switch. This might finally be the exception to my "the only tactics games I like are FFT".
     
    Sold. Absolutely sold. Native resolution and at 60fps, this game looks gorgeous even on an OG Switch. I'm expecting some great gameplay and crazy plot twists similar to 13 Sentinels.

    Can't wait.
     
    Update: I had force myself to stop playing. This game is GOOD. It's one of those games that hooks and sucks you in so quick.

    It's filling up my FE drug for sure lol.

    Going to save the rest when the game comes out and after I finish Person 4 Golden lol.

    God, Sega/Atlus is killing it this year huh? Wish I could play P3R and Metaphor but alas (Hopefully Switch 2).
     
    Tried the demo and for someone who was planning on getting it later, it might have convinced to get it day 1 lol. Its really good looking game and as great ost (so far). Story beginnings a little predictable but I would think its gonna be more than that.
