Only a matter of time before one outlet messed up.Zeltik mentioned it's related to Ultrahand, and a way to make building with Ultrahand easier. My bet is it's a way to store a vehicle or construct you've made.

They specifically mentioned that they weren't allowed to talk about anything story related, and were strictly held to two specific areas. The control look tedious and the emphasis on fusion gimmicks and experimental gameplay is really not my cup of tea. I was more curious about new more interesting areas to explore.
Yep, another preview mentioned that you can save a creation and construct it again given you have the materials, so that's probably what this isZeltik mentioned it's related to Ultrahand, and a way to make building with Ultrahand easier. Ah yeah that's my cup of tea then. Thank goodness.Only a matter of time before one outlet messed up.
What did you expect

Apparently the frame drops are only in the B-roll footage provided by Nintendo, all the previews say the game was quite smooth and almost all of their footage is very smooth.Im playing this in the good version for sure, damm those frame drops.
I hope its a bit more lineal than BOTW, Sometimes I had a little bit of anxiety playing, it overwhelmed imo

Also, for everyone who is weary about all the crafting:
The Guardian preview flat out says you can play TotK just like you played BotW and ignore crafting most of the time.
I don't see the camera option, so it is possible that it has been removed (and with it, the encyclopedia).
For some people if the game isn't running at 4k 60fps it's bad performance.on Era, there are a few more people talking about performance and anyone who actually played it said it performs well.
For sure. For me, I'm more than happy with slightly cleaner than BOTW's level of performance. For some people if the game isn't running at 4k 60fps it's bad performance.
I'm happy to hear that it's just an issue with the footage but I'm shocked they sent over video with those kinds of issues. It genuinely makes the framerate look terrible for the game.
That feels extremely common with Nintendo, I don't quite get it either.I'm happy to hear that it's just an issue with the footage but I'm shocked they sent over video with those kinds of issues. It genuinely makes the framerate look terrible for the game.

gunna be honest, this is a big relief. I almost don't like how much they're leaning into crafting and building vehicles. the whole "you can do that?" angle of this flies almost directly in the face of what I want out of Zelda. Also, for everyone who is weary about all the crafting:

BOTW already felt cumbersome to me so this doesn’t seem good.
Finally, a peek at the map screen.
yes!Eurogamer preview:
"Cave NETWORKS"
obviously underground is post gameOnly 2 levels of map, could this indicate no underground?

No, the icons telling you how to scroll between layers is a dead giveaway that there will be more layers added.Only 2 levels of map, could this indicate no underground?
I assume the shrines are the egg things, but no one showed them.So no mentions of shrines? Any hints there or were they just not allowed access to them?
That’s good to see. I’m super excited for this, but Zeltik mentioned that he didn’t see a way to get from one island to the next — at least where he was — without building vehicles. I don’t mind doing that sometimes but it could get tedious in a “switching to iron boots” kinda way if you have to stop and make a new thing constantly. Nintendo considering that is a huge deal.Only a matter of time before one outlet messed up.

That's a huge relief - my only worry from the previews.A previewer for the game said that the choppy footage is Nintendo’s b-roll footage and their experience was smooth. Multiple outlets, including IGN, have mentioned that the demo was smooth.

I won't lie, ever since the final trailer, I now see Botw empty/beta and that game was genuinely amazing.I still haven't read most of them, but from the ones i've read and impressions of the people who played at the preview event ... i get the feeling that Aonuma and the team just casually went and "degraded" BotW, one of the most loved and among the best games ever, to a freaking "tech demo".
It seems like the demo was held only in docked mode.Any handheld impressions? I assume native resolution like Botw?
it feels like htere isnt much to do in botw, and when comparing it to totk even jsut the demo i feel thats 100% accurate lmao.I won't lie, ever since the final trailer, I now see Botw empty/beta and that game was genuinely amazing.
