Add in the NoA PR too:

With over 4 million sold in the Americas, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is also the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch game and the fastest-selling Nintendo game for any system in that territory.

Very, very impressive. Zelda was always a reliable seller, but it’s now an absolute juggernaut.

Huge!! And well deserved, just like with Scarlet and Violet. Switch player base is so large now that every major game clears 10mil immediately, can't wait to see what other records the system breaks over the next two years.

So absolutely well deserved. When I’m not playing the game, I’m thinking about it in my head. Probably the most satisfied purchase (along with Zoled) I’ve made these couple of years

I know the Zelda purists are fuming right now.
I’m in the camp that doesn’t want the old 2D or 3D formula to be abandoned forever (would love to see it preserved in smaller Zelda games or heck even a new IP) but I also can’t fathom hating the new formula. The sheer amount of creativity and freedom it allows for is so refreshing.

Always wondered if this had a shot at overtaking Pokemon‘s debut and looks like it might be true!

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/24/nin...rd-with-pokmon-scarlet-and-pokmon-violet.html Pokemon S/V achieved 10m in three days this past November and at the time was the biggest debut in Nintendo’s history

They would've specified in the PR if it actually overtook Pokemon worldwide, but given they are both in the 10 million range it is likely pretty close regardless.

According to Vooks, it's also the single best selling game in the history of NoE.

I'd assume they mean fastest-selling, because 3.6 million units being the best-selling Nintendo game in Europe doesn't sound right when we consider things like Pokemon and Mario Kart existing.

Wow, great. And this sale figures with a 7/10 game :)

Don't judge me. This comment was a parody on a discussion i had in the review thread. Of course TotK is a masterpiece
