Mario is my favorite series, followed by Zelda, Metroid, and Final Fantasy. I love to many past that to rank just a fifth.

I've played them all, but it just so happens that I think that the latest offerings for Mario and Zelda are also the absolute best the series has to offer. Super Metroid might be a better game overall, but I still prefer the OG Prime.

I think it's basically impossible to do a true top 5 for me since I adore so many games, and also because it would have repeats of the same IP, but here's 5 of my all time favorites each from a different series.

5. Ratchet and Clank 2
4. Hyper Light Drifter
3. Hollow Knight
2. Shadow of the Colossus
1. Metroid Prime 2

I didn't even include any 90s PC FPS/RTS in that list and that hurts my soul.

My number 1 is pretty set it stone at the moment, but yeah what's beneath changes all the time. The list I just posted now is in a different order than what I have jotted down in my note app. And Chrono Trigger slips in there from time to time. :LOL:

Btw RE4 and Half Life 2 are somewhere in my top 15. Amazing games. I've played Panzer Dragoon and S&P, but different installments. Loved them. I actually recently bought Star Successor, I think I will move it to the front of the backlog now!

It’s crazy they barely showed towns still. They didn’t show anything on traversing this open world. I think they showed a very small part with the boat we’ve seen before.

I think it was said Field Skills was coming on the website a few weeks ago, but we didn’t see that either. Lots of secrets

Absolute nonsense. RCT3 launched buggy and is dated by today's standards.
Meanwhile, you could load up a copy of RCT2 in 100 years from now and still have a blast.

I've got a clear cut top 4 that I don't really have ordered. My 5th favorite game shuffles around quite a bit, but these 4 are in a tier of their own.
  • 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • Outer Wilds
  • Persona 5 Royal
Which one is my favorite changes by the day, but if I absolutely had to pick one, it'd probably be Persona 5 Royal.

Halo 2's the all time Halo GOAT, I don't care what those 360 hype cycle normies say about Halo 3.

So what is the guess on announcement date? I'm guessing Monday is pretty much a lock, but an announcement tomorrow or Friday would be nice
