Remake of a quirky super famicom exclusive jrpg made during squaresoft's golden age. It received a fan translation a long time ago and is fondly thought of.I have no clue what this is, but it was one of the bright spots of the Direct
Sweet, sounds great. Love me some HD-2D, I'll have to try itRemake of a quirky super famicom exclusive jrpg made during squaresoft's golden age. It received a fan translation a long time ago and is fondly though of.
Only a matter of time for HD-2D Chrono Cross
I've been waiting for this day since Mean Machines magazine reviewed the game and said it was a must play. 28 freaking years!!!!
I'm glad the awful episodic release idea a Square employee mentioned years ago got seemingly rejectedreally happy for tokita. he finally gets it greenlighted
not only that he got the rolls royce 2DHD remakereally happy for tokita. he finally gets it greenlighted
Same artist.I like how it looks like Octopath.
More HD-2D is always a good thing.
I heard this was kinda like Octopath Traveler?
Octopath was absolutely trying to be like this game.I like how it looks like Octopath.
I know.Same artist.
WOW how did I miss this, thank you Nintendo, thank you SquareNIntendo is publishing this in the west
It's great to see. All 3 of the currently announced HD-2D games are some of my personal most anticipated games at the moment. Would be awesome to see Octopath 2 officially revealed at some point this year, too.SE is getting so much out of that HD-2D aesthetic. not that i'm complaining.
Kinda. It's more like 8 micro-JRPGs glommed together. Basically the same structure as SaGa Frontier.A lot of Mother 3 staff worked on this game. Is the episode structure similar?
Yes. Turn based combat with positional/tactical movement. Is this a JRPG???
