Watched Dungeons and Dragons and had a fun time. It's the type of summer film (e.g. "Pirates of the Carribean 1") that I wish Hollywood would produce more often. Lots of action, comedy and heart.

Just watched Face/Off for the first time.

I was expecting a hammy, cheesy, over the top action movie… and that was delivered.

What I didn’t expect was such a great story, hilarious one liners, and extremely fun performances from everyone but especially, obviously, Travolta and Nic Cage.

10/10 action movie for me, loved it and would watch again

Humanity peaked with Face/Off tbh

Been downhill since

At the start of this month I had never seen a single Maniac Cop film. Well folks, I have now seen all three, and critics agree: "Make Mine Maniac!"

Have only seen the first one but it threw so many curveballs at me! Well, mostly I was just surprised by Sheree North's unhinged performance (Academy Award please!) and how big Taylor Swift's hair was back then.

And boy that cop sure was a maniac.

Gotta watch 2, he's even more of a maniac! Wow!

Watched First Reformed. Absolutely terrific. As a Jewish atheist it can be hard to make me sympathetic to a Christian priest as a main character, but Ethan Hawke was fantastic in the role. I was invested in his crisis of faith and trying to make sense of the world around him.
