7 years exactly, who is ready for Thursday to see this hype moment again? Hope that gameplay will be direct-feed this time.

Do you have a link perhaps? Only found the one on the Nintendo UK store, which sadly doesn't ship to Europe.

As an aside if you haven't found it yet, with a little digging and trying to put my Duolingo skills to use (until I eventually used Google translate), I was able to come across a link from the Nintendo Germany site:

E: the whole store lets you order a Ring Con by itself? Nintendo why the fuck can't I buy RFA digitally? I would have MUCH rather have done that

Well, as a German myself that should have been easy to find... oh well, thanks. :D

Haha, happy to help regardless! Fingers crossed if you do get your hands on one soon we'll all be able to stream Netflix and Amazon Prime (and in 4K no less on those fancy new docks)

Your point does kind of still stand though, because horse controls in most video games have always been awful.
I kinda hated how horse control in Shadow of the Colossus was sold as 'realism'. While that may be true, it wasn't that great of an experience, especially replaying it nowadays lol.

(I still adore that game though)

I love SotC, but largely agree with you regarding its horse controls.

I’m still sad I’m missing my copy

More atlus games coming to pc, wonder which one it is

If we go by the western release, it'll be 5 years by next April that Persona 5 is locked on PlayStation 3/4. And 3 years that Royal is locked on PS4.
I honestly don't think we should rule out a PC port. P4G got one and that was a Vita exclusive, new version of a PS2 exclusive.

Not that I wanna die on this hill, but with Joker in Smash, P5 Strikers (literally the direct sequel) and SMTIII Remaster and SMT V, Switch definitely has plenty of Persona/Mega Ten love already, and well, it's a Portable and it's Persona. I don't think they'll pass the opportunity to port it.

I think a new Royal version for PS5, Switch, PC and Xbox(Game Pass) is not that off cards.

This specific game coming for Steam just screams to be P5, because SMT V wouldn't be announced for another platform just a month after its release on the Switch. If it does I think it'll make the list of dumbest handling of times exclusives ever. It's clear Nintendo put a lot of money on the table(it's a niche series and the game had a big budget and had a lot of marketing). Maybe we are surprised by a multiplatform Persona 3 Remaster tho? Weren't there supposed to be a lot of announcements for the franchise anniversary?

SMT V is out for what, 3 weeks? And is published in the west by Nintendo, was in a lot of Directs, and Nintendo also likely being the reason this was a worldwide launch instead of waiting up to years here in the west.

If you think Nintendo paid this much money and effort for not even a year (at least) of exclusivity, you're gotta reconsider your thoughts.

Just because it's been on that nVidia list doesn't mean it ends up true. The list has Mario & Rabbids people. Please ^^.
Apparently one of the lists had New Super Mario Bros. Wii and there are Brazilian YouTubers claiming it's a rumor of Nintendo going to PC 😑. Weren't this, alongside Twilight Princess and Galaxy released for the nVidia Shield on China?

I know it's one of the biggest leaks ever and a lot in the list is turning out to be true, but some stuff there are just absurd.

We all forget there are 2022 announced and even dated games that in a hype/anticipation level can rival and even beat Elden Ring.
New trailers for God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Breath of the Wild 2, etc, are some major things that wouldn't be world premieres but probably bigger than any new announcement.

Not up on the North America store yet, but damn I really thought streaming services would have been announced by now and unlocking the 4K HDMI port in the OLED dock.
I think it's kind of a shame that Netflix, Crunchyroll and Amazon aren't available for the console. Even Wii U had. Hell even 3DS had Netflix, smh.

It makes no sense. Honestly, my PS4 is a streaming box but it would genuinely be so much more effective for me to flip between streaming and gaming on the same console.

I don't buy this whole nonsense that Netflix and Nintendo say it's up to the other to give permission/develop the app, something is fishy as hell and I wish that the hammer would drop and give a definitive reason as to why the only video apps we have on Switch are YouTube, NicoNico (Japan only) and Hulu (US only)

I am hoping so much that Nintendo brings something juicy to The Game Awards, but I really have this gut feeling that they will either be largely absent or have a very small announcement. I hope I'm wrong. This feels like the perfect place to kick the BotW2 marketing cycle into gear with a title reveal.

Watch how BOTW2 gameplay will be at the very close of TGA like 30 minutes before the end so we have to watch the whole show.
I doubt it. Other than the Joker reveal, I feel like nearly every single interesting announcement usually happens in the first half of the show.

The actual scenario is it won't be, so we'll have to watch the whole thing in pain waiting for it, just so it ends with nothing and we cry.

I'm actually gonna expect something of the sort so I don't get any hopes.

my actual genuine predictions for The Game Awards

1) Goldeneye on NSO
2) Yakuza Kenzan (specifically coming to Game Pass) (this might get renamed something like "Like A Dragon Kenzan" or "Like A Dragon Arrival" or "Like A Dragon Arrrives" or something else)

clearly atlus has something (I'd believe P5 on PC, not much more, def not Switch at this time) and I'm sure some other obvious stuff will be there but those 2 are all I'm willing to put in a post right now

Oh that would be perfect. Unfortunately I've just seen that the payment methods on the MyNintendoStore are limited to Master- or Visa-cards, and I don't have any of the two. Don't know why it's THAT limited but oh well.

Goldeneye on NSO is the peak for my expectations too. It'll be that or something less exciting. Nothing Metroid or Zelda.

Theoretically, wouldn't GoldenEye on NSO be more exciting than a Zelda or Metroid reveal? After all, we know Metroid and Zelda are coming eventually. GoldenEye would be one of those once in a lifetime announcements.

“[While shooting the campaign], my daughter was able to fall in love with a new game. We had a brief moment to [try out] Pokemon Legends: Arceus [due out January 28, 2022]. It's so gorgeous, the graphics and the setting that you get to explore in, so she was loving that so much, she wouldn't give me a turn. But that was on set and yeah, it's just such a great way for your family to connect.”

That RGG Studio stream where they're suspiciously playing the never-localized, never-remastered 2008 PS3 Yakuza spin-off for 24 hours and 16 minutes, which ends about a day or so before The Keighleys has me thinking SOMETHING is coming, and frankly the yakuza games have CLEARLY been very good for Game Pass, so I'm willing to bet Microsoft is funding the loc/remaster on Kenzan and maybe even Ishin.

Both of which I would absolutely LOVE to play.
