What if it’s just a pile of brown LEGO bits with occasional reddish bits here and there

First footage of new 3D mario:
They probably watch soap opera's like it's anime. They be like:I wonder if aliens have a favorite anime
they could make a story mode like CTRHypothetically what could they add to a Mario Kart 9 to change things up? Few ideas :
. Add a story mode similar to splatoon, where there are challenges and different things to do besides races, with a semi open world hub (option to get out of cart)
. Keep classic Mario kart modes (for those who don’t like change)
. Add a double dash feature, except one player has the option to get out of the kart and set up traps to cause mayhem
.???
What do you think they could add to shake up the formula?
Are those games in a rights limbo atm?Just caught a youtube video that mentioned them and it reminded me...
A) Is there anything weirder, more unique, or takes bigger swings narratively and theme-wise on the SNES than the Quintet Trilogy? Especially Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma, those games go to some absolutely wildly dark and strange places sometimes. Even if it doesn't always work, the giant swings they take are kind of mind-boggling for SNES games.
B) Will we ever see these games again? Actraiser got a remake, but the Soul Blazer/world reincarnation trilogy hasn't been touched in ages and would make a great addition to NSO or a trilogy digital release or something.
Quite possibly, although I thought Actraiser was too and we got that remake recently, so I'm not sure. Are those games in a rights limbo atm?
Also sometimes there's David Wise musicvideo game jungles: beautiful and mysterious yet forbidding, secrets everywhere and great treasures hiding at every step.
irl jungles: malaria
The fact Square Enix were able to re-release Actraiser suggests they may well have the rights to the other Quintet games; given Square Enix don't seem to be on board with NSO, that sadly means we likely wouldn't see them on the service unless Nintendo make a special effort to secure them.Just caught a youtube video that mentioned them and it reminded me...

Happy birthday, Xenoblade 3!
There was a racing game years ago called Split Second that was built around this feature and it was wild.
- Destructible tracks so that tracks change in an ongoing race
S-E is so freaking weird when it comes to Enix IP. Like, they sit on a treasure trove of awesome games and they do absolutely nothing with it.Quite possibly, although I thought Actraiser was too and we got that remake recently, so I'm not sure.
I remember that! It was on PS3 iirc. That game was pretty cool! There was a racing game years ago called Split Second that was built around this feature and it was wild.
If you're serious then here:Can someone explain to me what a "lever bee" (sp?) is? I've been googling and searching for an hour and I cannot for the life of me find out what a "lever bee" / "leverby" is
If you're serious then here:
But if you're not serious and I just took some sort of bait, then congratulations
Wasn’t that game also developed under the auspices of the mouse? Back in the “Beuna Vista Games” days? There was a racing game years ago called Split Second that was built around this feature and it was wild.
Just googled and holy cow, you're right! I did not notice that back in the day.Wasn’t that game also developed under the auspices of the mouse? Back in the “Beuna Vista Games” days?
based. normalize doing absolutely nothing.Just realised that I accomplished literally nothing today except get my daily win in Splatoon 3. Didn't play anything else. Didn't read anything. Didn't watch anything except for TikTok.

One of the worst parts of my brain is that I still remember a lot about the year two competing arcade racers were released (Blur and Split/Second), received rave reviews, then promptly walked into a volcano.Just googled and holy cow, you're right! I did not notice that back in the day.
