I don't think anybody's mad, and all the info has been shared (here at least) with the caveat of "this person's been right before but what they're suggesting now is pretty wild."

and given the quality of the majority of the films they let past quality control it was probably decent, the fuckers just couldn't tell their arse from their elbow
 
I like the anime plot twist of people looking into Pyoro’s deleted Tweets only to find more correct information
 
This all has legit been more entertaining than all the all the gaming showcases in the past month. It's made all the near silence worth it.

You would be surprised at the amount of casual people who think 1 2 Switch is good fun. I was shocked myself lmao.
Straight up saw people playing it at a party and saying "oh we need to buy this game too" lmao
People play it for 10 minutes not realizing what a rip off it is.

I've been using the internet for a quarter of a century and Famiboards Direct hype cycles are up there with some of the most fun I've ever had on the internet.
 
I think this has been my favourite Direct cycle for a while. Lukas' zeal, the Dringest Timeline, actually having Tears of the Kingdom to play, dozens of people completely disregarding a June Direct, a potential megaton leaker emerging 24 hours before the Direct, and the absolute chaos storm that is Everybody 1-2 Switch right in the middle of it all, with MC Horace taking hostages and Nintendo using the June Direct to cover it up. Just perfect.
 
Can you imagine being one of those paid actors? You're hired by Nintendo, but then you get there and the game you are playing is like a total shit show? And then a man wearing a horse mask walks out and starts shouting about nonsense?

I would be 1000% sure that the screen was being dropped to reveal a trebuchet pointed right at me.

I would legit think I’m going to die if I see someone dressed up in that horse mask. It’s like Jason Vorhees or Mike Meyers stuff.

I think the “New” series has run its course and I think Nintendo knows it as well.

N64/GC had no 2D Mario games and GBC/GBA just had ports of NES/SNES games so NSMB on DS was the first original title in 14 years. This alone made it a huge deal plus it added new mechanics to the 2D series.

NSMB Wii was the first 2D Mario on a home console in 18 years and was the first to introduce 4-player simultaneous multiplayer so again this was a huge deal and each of these games sold over 30 million copies.

Then came the sequels on 3DS & Wii U which were both great games but neither of them did anything that moved the series forward, they were just basic sequels. The 3DS title sold less than 1/2 of its DS predecessor while the Wii U title did less than 1/5 of the Wii title.

The Wii U title was ported to Switch and has done really well, over 15 million and counting, but this is still a big decrease from the DS/Wii days and when you factor in that Switch has seen many franchises break records, Nintendo is probably disappointed with these numbers and needs to shake up the franchise to bring it back to selling 30+ million.

I hope for a good show tomorrow, I'm not gonna throw out a whole bunch of predictions like many of you have because mine would probably look somewhat the same but I will make 3 I feel strongly about :p

1 - A new Mana game will be revealed
2 - Atlus will be present at the show, with not only 1 game but 2
3 - Square Enix will show with a surprising game
