News Nintendo Direct announced for June 21 (40 minutes long, focused on games releasing this year, 7AM Pacific, 10AM Eastern, 4PM Central European)

This is insane to think about. I haven’t even been following Nintendo news for that long.

it will depend how ambitous this games can be, they could have a staff of 400/600 developers working on this games,it will depend on the scope/ambition Nintendo aim for this games

Not during summer time. Because Japan has no summertime so Nintendo Directs-time do not really change in Japan but do in other places in the world.
 
I can absolutely see one final special edition switch before new hardware. A 2D Mario OLED would definitely shift units around Christmas after the Mario movie this year.
 
I don't see them opening with Pikmin 4 again, they already did that in February. I'm expecting something more akin to the Kirby trailer in Feb 2022 direct. They did specifically mention it in the tweet though... So it might get a slightly more important spot, something with Miyamoto himself would be nice.

Just hoping for a new Mario controller. I’d love to see what they do with a Mario pro controller (and I would buy one in a heartbeat even though I have no use for one). I would honestly even settle for the solid red joy con they released with Odyssey that have been exclusive to console bundles in the U.S. so far

He's a Famiboards user, who predicted the June 21 Direct a long time ago before anyone else believed in it, and since then has convinced lots of people that the Direct is happening, and he was right!

Chris Dring = Chris_Dring on Twitter
He's a person who claims to be an insider (i think?). Most recently known for adamantly claiming there is no June Direct, and not being able to accept that he's wrong now that he got proven wrong. Apparently has a grudge against Nintendo.

Please correct me if any of this is wrong.
 
One last thing HAS to be Prime 4. It's the next new hot mega-extra-super-hyper-dunder-big-wig-heavy anticipated hit title after TotK, and they know this.
 
Nah, there's no real grudge from Christopher Dring and I'd like to draw attention to his most recent tweet which shows, deep down, he's one of us:

He made a bad guess and got things wrong. He gave me my Dringest Timeline material. Ultimately he's another nerd who doesn't have time for all the riches gaming bestows on us.

That's what could make this year so special for me.

2023 would have an awesome Zelda, Armored Core 6, and Mario and Sonic both may stand have awesome 2D game releases.

All I'd need is some quality Mega Man...
